Family Fun - We took our 3.5 year old, he had a blast! There are lots of stairs, but he says those were his favorite part. Lots to see, I recommend 1/2 to a full day. Bring your AAA card for a discount. Kids under 5 are free. Bathrooms in the aviation hanger, gift shop and on the battleship. We did not make it over to do the submarine, but that’s included in your ticket. On hot days I recommend bringing a water bottle. Parts of the ship are not cooled.

Excellent - I was initially unsure about the stop, but would highly recommend it. It was eye opening to see what our military endured during WWII. It is worth the time and money.

History comes alive! - A must see! The history of the USS Alabama and USS Drum is told so we'll it makes you feel like you are back during WWII. Not only is there the battle ship and submarine but all kinds of military aircraft, tanks, and a beautiful war memorial. Get there early because this is an all day activity. There's a lot of walking and not all of the ship is wheelchair accessible. There are parts of the ship only accessable by climbing very steep and narrow stairs. The cafe has good food and the gift shop has great souvenirs.

USS Alabama - Great experience. Just think about all that sailed on the ships and what they went through. A lot of stairs but well worth it.

Military history at its best - Lots of military history of all the services. Balanced storytelling at its best . We especially enjoyed the Tuskegee Airmen exhibit.

Great experience - Need to be able to walk and climb steep stairs and walk a long upward gang plank. Make sure to allow 5 hours to see everything.

Surprising - First time to visit a battleship such as this and I certify it's a real surprising tour. First of all, you first see it when you are crossing Mobile's Bay. And when you're approaching it, it gets bigger and bigger. But when you're entering it, then the feeling is incredible. It's really huge !! There are some tour indications inside the ship (different colours) but we got lost twice. Therefore it's better to explore it in your own way. Best area, without any doubt, is USS Alabama's bridge which is accessible by climbing a large number of narrow and claustrophobic stairs. When you are inside this ship you clearly understand how difficult and challenging was to live there, at that time. Highly recommendable
