Navy Veteran - We had a wonderful time exploring the ship. It gave my husband plenty of time to reminisce and share his naval experiences with us. I would definitely recommend the USS ALABAMA to anyone interested in naval history.

10/10 great time - Very neat museum!! Battleship and submarine you can go all over! Lots of walking and sati climbing, entire park was very clean and friendly, nice little cafe to take a break. Bring good shoes to walk in, you’ll need at least 3-4 hours here!

Traveling fanatic - Went to the gift shop at 3:50 and lady said shop is getting ready to close that I have to go to the entrance quickly in order to board the ship. To me the gift shop is as big part of the experience as the tour itself. Drove 6 hours and had to rush and got no souvenirs 🥺 The USS Alabama was a an amazing tour… will have to go again!!

Submarine is tight, but... - Submarine is tight, but worth the effort. Battleship gives a new appreciation for the men who lived on the ship.

We are not worthy - If you had family in WE2, it was an emotional experience. The USS Evan’s room effected me because my father related a story about ships and kamikazes.

Great for families with fun for all ages. - Perfect for daytime visit. Definitely takes 2-3 hours to take it all in. It includes the ship and the submarine. I recommend providing a high level explanation of WWII to the kiddos prior to attending.

Interesting but a little challenging with all the steps and ramps for seniors. - Not very handicapped friendly with no elevators ect.

Amazing History - It was amazing seeing what this ship did in World War II. To see everything you need a full day. There is more to see than just the ship. My only complaint was the gift shop closed at 4:00 an hour earlier than the exhibit. I didn’t get a chance to purchase gift for my grand children. The food at the restaurant was very good but pricy. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was because of the gift shop.

Alabama Adventure - It was a great experience, when you are not on a guided tour there is no one throughout the ship to guide you, some areas are extremely small not a good idea for someone who is claustrophobic or needs a little assistance
