Great day trip - Enjoyable day exploring different towns that would otherwise be difficult to get to on your own. Small group was nice. Also great to be out of Malaga.

Perfect day in nice company! Beautiful, beautiful and beautiful! 👏 - Tuesday 06/01/‘26 ..A little bit at the very last moment I asked if I could still join on this day towards Nerja, Frigiliana and Alcebuchal....and after a short communication with Emilio I had a YES, there must still be room of course..😅 But anyway I was a lucky guy. Our day started at 10am sharp in Málaga, Chesko took us under his wing for this whole day and he did absolutely excellent, absolutely big kudos to him..nothing but praise!! 👍
Although I had been to Nerja and Frigiliana several times, I saw it completely differently now and enjoyed being there in the winter..I loved it so much, we were of course also very lucky with the weather..also in Frigiliana it was super..there a tour by María José, really a local of Frigiliana ...I absolutely enjoyed everything she told..for me Nerja and Frigiliana really come home a bit and very well known so I loved being able to be there again..so many memories over the years..
Our last stop was Alcebuchal, I had never been there and never heard about this place, so for me the trigger ...and it was absolutely a very big surprise..Chesko took us there safely, good driver and in between also a very nice narrator although always very attentive on the road..I enjoyed the ride very much too...we were with a nice group and it felt more like an outing with friends than something organized, so totally great. A lot learned today, a lot seen....and absolutely another day with a lot of surprises even for me....Chesko is a top guide, has a lot of knowledge about the region and he knows how to bring it in a beautiful way....and he keeps his group very well together...also active as a guide for a few years (in a completely different way though, Chesko his responsibility definitely goes a lot further, so nothing but great admiration for him..) It was a really fantastic day! The stops were perfect, no rush, no rush...all the time, as we prefer it, I highly recommend Travel Factory Andalucía..and if you have Chesko as a guide, then you know it's good....10 out of 10 for this day, for Chesko and for the Travel Factory Andalucía! 👏👍

This has been one of the... - This has been one of the finest tours we have taken. We have traveled quite exhaustively in Europe in the past and this trip, to a couple of lesser known places clearly stands out. Both Nerja and Frigiliana are a treat to the senses combining hills and sea facing each other; rich in landscape, topography, landfilled with tense history and a literary and artistic culture few places in the world can match. The experience was further catapulted by Emilio, our travel consultant. He is knowledgable in many areas, within and without the geographical domain of these tours, caring, confident and an excellent driver. You could hand yourself over to his good care, sit back and enjoy the tours.

Absolutely perfect - Emilio is passionate, skilled, and so deeply knowledgeable not only about the content of his tours, but about people, the world, music, nature, and more. The small group setting makes for an intimate and educational tour, with lots of laughs and stories only a well versed guide could provide. There was a great mix of touring, free time, resting, etc. I’ll be recommending to any friend of mine visiting.

Beautiful historical sites wrapped by mountainside - Three distinct and beautiful sites perched on the top of mountains, as well as deep in the valley of the mountains. And historical in the true sense of the word. The streets are narrow in Nerja and it located on a hillside that is hundreds of meters above the ground. Oddly enough, cars are allowed to pass on the streets, making the walk slightly more dangerous. And, many sections are steep! The houses are all painted brilliant white giving some relief from the heat. There are plenty of spots to stop and take a photo. Frigiliana is also located on a steep hillside. Again, many old whitewashed buildings as well as Churches and businesses that have existed for centuries. As you climb, you pass many alleyways that lead seemingly to nowhere.
The cultural influences are Christian, Jewish, and Arabic. What is essential is a guide that can lead you to the hidden gems, and has a superb knowledge of the region. Our group had that in Emilio who works with Travel Factory Andalusia. He spent a considerable amount of time in each town regaling us with stories, and introducing us to the unique features that would have been lost on us had we simply wandered around on our own. He was a super individual that projected intellect and knowledge. He was personable, friendly, and made sure that every person had the attention that they required to know the towns as they should.
The gem was the trip to Cómpeta which was a town that had a sad and sordid history of death and resistance during the early twentieth, but was resurrected as a symbol of hope, tenacity and survival. Again, Emilio was the key to gaining an understanding of the history and culture of that town.
If you are looking to tour the Andalusian region, look no further than Travel factory Andalusia and the folks that work there. Comfortable vehicles, excellent conversation, and a true connection to the past history of the region.
