The tour kicks off in the vibrant downtown area, where participants will discover Missoula’s transformation from a bustling railroad center to a key automobile-era junction. Visitors will admire structures like the sophisticated Florence Hotel while learning about the rivalries among the city’s founders.

The tour also explores the city’s more tumultuous history, including the notorious madam Mary “Mother” Gleim, famed for her violent impact on Missoula’s red-light district.

The walk wraps up at the historic Missoula Mercantile, offering a chance to peruse artifacts and historical artwork.

Throughout this 1.5-2 hour experience, participants will:
