The Ballestas are a smaller yet equally impressive version of the Galapagos, where you can observe sea lions, penguins, and numerous birds in their natural environment. With some luck, dolphins might also make an appearance!
- Ica - Following Paracas, proceed to a local pisco vineyard to discover the process of making Peruvian pisco and sample the various types produced there. There will be time to enjoy lunch and savor local cuisine! (Please note, lunch is not included).
- Huacachina Oasis - Head to Huacachina, where you will have some leisure time before embarking on the buggy and sandboarding tour, allowing you to explore the oasis.
- Huacachina - Experience the thrill of riding up the dunes in a buggy and sandboarding down! This unique adventure takes place in the only natural desert oasis in South America.
- Miraflores - Depart from Huacachina at 7:00 pm, with an expected arrival in Lima around 11:45 pm.
Passengers will be dropped off at the same location as the pickup, with an estimated arrival time of 11:30 pm.

Seamless execution! - Everything was executed exactly as outlined in the description! It is a long day, but absolutely worth it for the experience. Aymeth was a phenomenal guide—knowledgeable, professional, and so much fun to be around - like a sister. Every detail was handled perfectly, making for a truly seamless and memorable adventure. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Amazing Adrenaline and Animal viewing experience - This trip was truly amazing!
We started by setting off at about 6 in the morning from Lima in a nice airconditioned bus with leg rests, so I a fell asleep almost straight away and slept all the way to our first stop in Paracas, we where then guided to our first activity, with a boat ride out to the incredible habitats of sealions penguins and so many different species of birds and other marine life at the Islas ballestas. We paid the tax of 7 dollars on the bus before we arrived. So we could just walk right inn without having to queue, which was great! The guide was amazing constantly giving us information about all the different animals and behaviour, and the captain also got us really close to the animals and the islands which was amazing. After the boat tour, we got back in the bus and headed to an amazing lunch full of local dishes, these we also preordered on the bus, so they were ready as soon as we sat down, which was great! These we paid for after eating and they do take card. The portion sizes where huge by the way. Afterwards we had a really entertaining wine and pisco tasting, which was free, before setting off to the Ica oasis for our sandboarding adventures! This one we also booked online in the bus 10$ for 1 hour or 20$ for 2 hours, It was incredibly fun. With this tour the «bodyboard» sandboard is included but if you want to do the stabding sandboard you will have to rent it onse you get to the Oasis. It was really fun and we ended the trip there with an amazing sunset in the dunes!
All our guides were amazing, and the driver of the bus drove so comfortably. Thank you especially to Fiorella for being an excellent organiser, we never had to wait in any queues, and got our food when we arrived at location thanks to her planning. She even got us a pack of popcorn each on our ride back home. I can truly not recommend this tour enough.
And I will also tips you to bring sunscreen, hats, glasses and a buff. The sun is searing snd if you forget to bring it there are plenty of locals that will try to sell it to you, but trust me you will need it. And also this trip is perfect if you are a solo traveller like myself, as there are plenty of other solo travellers as well so you are bound to make friends! :)

Perfect day - I had an amazing experience visiting Paracas and Huacachina—definitely one of the highlights of my time in Peru!
The day started early, but it was absolutely worth it. In Paracas, the boat tour to the Ballestas Islands was incredible. We saw sea lions, penguins, and so many birds up close in their natural habitat. The scenery along the coast was stunning, and the whole experience felt very well organized and safe.
After that, we continued to Huacachina, which is such a unique and beautiful place. The oasis surrounded by huge sand dunes looks like something out of a movie. The dune buggy ride was so much fun—full of adrenaline—and sandboarding down the dunes was an unforgettable experience. Watching the sunset over the desert was the perfect way to end the day. Everything ran smoothly, the guide Fio were friendly and knowledgeable, and the activities were well planned. Even though it’s a long day, it never felt boring because there’s always something exciting happening.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Peru. It’s the perfect combination of nature, adventure, and incredible views!

10/10 - props to the team!!! - Amazing amazing experience. 10/10. Definitely worth the money, and the early wake up! The staff are all great, especially Fio our amazing tour guide, the guy at the wine tasting I forget who got us drunk and the driver in our buggy - Don Julio!! Thanks again

No brainer! Just do it if you are looking for a day trip. - Amazing! Just do it. It is a day fully packed with history, adventure, shopping, alcohol, everything. We did it with my girlfriend and two other friends and we all loved it. Fio, our tour guide, was great! I highly recommend this trip.
