Beautiful historic city tour in just the right amount of time - My teenager and I very much enjoyed our tour with Rubi and Susana. Both guides were very engaging, super knowledgeable and very mindful of our safety and well-being. (It was a hot day, we always stopped in the shade for our history info.) Small group, well worth it as transportation in an air conditioned van was included with a savvy driver. And - we even got to try local treats!

Spectacular, fun, entertaining and very cute. - We went with Mafer to tour the historic center and the catacombs, the truth is that if you go to lime you have to do it to know the history of the city and the country, for me it is a mandatory tour for every tourist. Mafer was an excellent, patient and very good guide, I recommend that you do it with her because she knows a lot about the history and general culture data of Peru.

Recommended!! - It was a very interesting experience, I highlight the art of the churches visited during the tour. Besides that, you could see the changing of the guard of the government palace which was also very interesting. Finally I highlight the guide Valeria who was super friendly and told us a lot of facts both in Spanish for me and in English for other tourists who were accompanying us. 10/10

Highly recommend the walking tour - We took the walking tour with MAFER. She was very thorough with the explaining the history and the background of all the places we visited including the buildings of interest. I highly recommend taking this tour for anyone visiting Lima.

Great experience on more pricey tour - I had a very good time on the Essential Lima Tour. Vale, my guide, was very knowledgeable. She was patient with my questions and was engaging by also asking me questions back. She made sure that I had everything I needed during the tour and gave me local recommendations too.
The tour was a great way to see downtown and the Catacombs, learn about the history and current political climate of the country.
Pick up and drop off from Miraflores was easy and convenient.
I do think it is quite expensive for a walking tour but I would still recommend if there is free time in Lima and Vale was an excellent guide :)

Poor your, avoid if you want to see Lima - No changing of the guards
No catacombs
Only one street in lima
Just arrived at one square and walked down one street to another square then taken to a place where they tried to sell us pisco wine. Wasn't much walking at all. The history talk was there but really didn't see anything of any note..was unfortunately really disappointed by this experience
