・The international driver’s permit must be in the Geneva 1949 format, issued by Geneva Convention Member States or countries not listed.

・Driver’s licenses from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco require a Japanese translation from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF). ※An international driver’s permit issued under the Vienna 1968 convention is not valid. Also, bring your PASSPORT, DRIVER’S LICENSE, and JAPANESE TRANSLATION PAPER in physical form on the day.

・Refunds are not available if participation is not possible due to incomplete documentation.

・Driver’s licenses from countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as Mexico, Kuwait, China, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, etc.) cannot be used in Japan.

• INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS PERMIT cannot be used for anything other than the Geneva 1949 format issued by the Geneva Convention Member States or issued in countries not on the list
• Refunds cannot be issued if you are unable to participate due to incomplete required documents.
