Easy way to experience Como for a day! - So glad we got to spend a day in Como during our visit to Milan. Andrea was an exceptional guide who was very easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Also very knowledgeable! Definitely visit Suisse (restaurant in Bellagio) before you leave! So yummy.

We had the absolute... - We had the absolute pleasure of spending a full day with Renzo as our guide for a Lake Como tour, and it was easily one of the most memorable highlights of our entire trip. Born in the hospital right in Como and having lived here his entire life, Renzo brings a rare depth of local knowledge and pride that shines through in every story he tells. With a university education in history, he brings the region’s past to life in a way that’s both insightful and entertaining.
Renzo curated the perfect day — a seamless blend of iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and authentic local experiences. His storytelling was captivating, his timing impeccable, and his warmth and humor made the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. We never felt like tourists — we felt like guests of a close friend who truly loves where he’s from.
If you’re planning a trip to Lake Como, do yourself a favor and book a day with Renzo. He’s a true local treasure and an extraordinary guide. Highest recommendation.

Said yes to this tour! - This was our first visit to Lake Como and Andrea, our guide, made it a fun and informative experience. The boat ride offers views of celebrity villas and a peek at life on the lake, while free time in stops like Bellagio leave plenty of time to wonder (and shop).

Great day at the Lake from Milan - Sara was our guide . We had an amazing time . A little stressful at the meeting point in the station. But that was our only hiccup . The stops are fantastic , her recommendation for lunch amazing . Even took me to great shops .
The entire day was great .

Great day with our own personal tour guide - Unlike some other tour companies, Your Travel Diary will run their tours no matter how many people have signed up. This was listed as a small group tour and it was small, just my husband and myself. We spent the whole day with Emilio and he was wonderful. We did have some free time for lunch on our own in Bellagio, but otherwise he was with us all the time. I think we were perhaps supposed to have some free time in Varenna, but since he realized we weren't shoppers he took us on a walking tour of the town to some historic old churches. I think my only complaint is with Viator. The tour said that the tour would end back at the train station where we started which was near our hotel. All the tours I booked in Milan were supposed to start and stop near our hotel. We found out from Emilio in the morning that the tour was going to end at the other large train station in Milan. He went above and beyond and not only helped us buy our subway tickets to get back to the original station, but he went with us on the subway to make sure we got back to where Viator said the tour ended. This cost us money for the subway tickets, but also cost Emilio his own money by taking us all the way back there. We would have been happy if all he did was to help us buy the tickets, walk us to the correct subway train, and tell us which stop to get off, but he was awesome to go all the way with us.
