Wonderful tour! - My family and I had our tour with Andy. The entire experience was absolutely amazing. The sights were breathtaking and Andy was a great guide during the whole tour. We were happy to have free time in both Lugano and Como and Andy gave us great suggestions about what to do and see in both cities. Thank you for a wonderful experience Andy!!!! This is a trip we will never forget.

Great tour!!! - Pierre Francoise was fantastic!! He showed us through the ancient city of Eze before the crowds got there and took us all around Monaco and Monte Carlo. I am usually nervous as a passenger in a car but even in the tiny winding streets Pierre made me feel safe!!

Curious About Como & Lugano? Luxury Delusion Included - This tour felt like I was gently kidnapped by scenery, blindfolded with a silk scarf, and dropped into a travel brochure that refuses to behave normally. One minute you’re in Milan wondering if espresso counts as hydration (it does), and the next you’re being emotionally airlifted into Lake Como like a confused VIP in a perfume commercial that ran out of budget for plot logic. Then—boom—Switzerland shows up like an overachieving exchange student who color-codes their life and sleeps eight hours a night. The Swiss train ride was so aggressively beautiful I started feeling personally victimized by mountains. At some point, I stopped taking photos not because I was satisfied, but because I feared the Alps were judging my composition skills. Lake Como is clearly fake. I don’t care what anyone says. It looks like someone asked AI to generate “rich people serenity” and then accidentally made it real. Every town is aggressively photogenic, like it knows it has competition and refuses to lose. That feeling only gets stronger when you’re on the water. The boat cruise across Lake Como was the emotional reset button I didn’t know I needed. Just floating across that absurdly beautiful lake, drifting past cinematic villas and mountains that look staged, while pretending your life is together enough to deserve it. Spoiler: it is not, but the lake does not care. And then there’s Lugano. Lugano is what happens when Italy decides to behave for a day and Switzerland supervises it like a strict but stylish aunt. Everything is clean, quiet, and suspiciously well-organized, like even the pigeons have quarterly performance reviews. I casually strolled past luxury boutiques pretending my boutique bank account wasn’t quietly hyperventilating. I briefly considered moving there until I remembered I enjoy chaos, slightly less expensive coffee, and the fact that I’d spend most of my life pretending I could afford the window displays. The streets in Lugano are not streets. They are cardio events disguised as architecture. You don’t “walk” in Lugano—you negotiate with gravity and make peace with your calves as they file complaints in real time. At one point, I genuinely considered applying for mountain goat certification just to survive casually crossing the road. I briefly believed I was lost, but then realized I was just on a slope that required emotional support and better shoes. Still, somehow, every corner looks like it’s about to be used in a luxury watch commercial or a meditation app ad narrated by someone named Luca who says things like, “Breathe in the serenity of fiscal responsibility.” The tour schedule was a miracle of logistics held together by caffeine, optimism, and the silent agreement that nobody would question how we crossed international borders so casually. Also, massive credit to our tour guide, Chiara, who somehow kept this entire beautifully chaotic operation running like a calm human GPS powered by espresso, divine patience, and what I can only assume are legally questionable levels of competence. She maintained order across trains, boats, borders, and groups of tourists running on caffeine and confusion with the emotional stability of a Swiss bank vault and the endurance of someone actively defying physics. Honestly, she deserves hazard pay, a medal, a monument, and possibly her own mountain in the Alps named after her. One highlight worth noting: she’s one of the few tour guides who actually uses GPS screenshots to show people exactly where to meet her. More tour operators need to start doing this. Would recommend if you enjoy: scenery that feels like it’s flexing on your entire hometown cardio disguised as sightseeing emotionally unstable levels of “wow” pretending you’re rich for 12 hours at a time taking 400 photos of the same mountain from slightly different angles like it will reveal secrets By the end of the day, I had a full camera roll, mild existential confusion about where I live, and a deep suspicion that Europe is showing off on purpose and refusing to apologize. Know before you go: Lugano is not a walk. It is a vertical negotiation with nature. The streets are so steep I started respecting stairs as an institution. Wear sneakers unless you enjoy discovering new leg muscles and questioning your decisions mid-climb. Also, bring snacks. The “one-hour lunch break” is a lie told by optimistic people who have never met a lakeside view before. You will either inhale food like a competitive eater or abandon your meal halfway through to emotionally process how beautiful everything is. Either way, Lugano will humble you, your calves, and your sense of direction.

This tour is excellent & Elma is the BEST - Elma was one of the BEST tour guides. She met us at the appointed time to help us navigate the subway to the main meeting point. Before we set out, she told us in detail what we would be doing. She was patient, kind and so knowledgeable. Before boarding the ferry, she provided details about the location of the toilets, drinks, and best places to sit in the ferry. On the ferry ride and throughout the day, she provided expert explanations of everything on the lake. Elma gave us options for eating and specialty shops in Bellagio. She answered all our questions with a smile. When it was time to leave Varenna via the train, she informed us that the train would be delayed as there had been security issues on the incoming train. She constantly updated us so we were well aware of the time delays which were totally out of her control. She even walked us to the subway station and made sure we knew how to return to our hotel. Without a doubt, our tour of Lake Como was outstanding because of Elma. We would highly suggest this tour
