Escape the Crowds: A Hidden Waterfall & Authentic Saint Lucia Experience - If you’re looking for an authentic nature experience away from the beach crowds, this tour is a true gem. The Latille Waterfall is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, lush, and wonderfully serene. Balenbouche Estate is equally stunning, full of history and character, and incredibly interesting to explore. What made the experience even more special was Nixon. He was an excellent driver — punctual, polite, cheerful, and extremely knowledgeable about the local area. His passion for Saint Lucia really shines through. This wasn’t just sightseeing; it felt like discovering the island through the eyes of someone who genuinely loves it. I visited the laid-back and charming village of Laborie, stopped to buy fresh local fruit, and enjoyed meaningful conversations with local people along the way. I especially loved speaking with the owner of the waterfall, the owner of Balenbouche Estate, and even the local baker — those personal interactions made the day unforgettable. Overall, it was a lovely trip that truly showcases the “real” Saint Lucia, far from the usual tourist trail. If you want to experience the island’s natural beauty, culture, and warm community spirit, this tour is a wonderful choice.
