Not much help at all with explaining how to let line out, tighten drag, or literally any basic fishing tips. Not to mention, I had my 10 year old daughter with me. We were caught in decent swells (I'd say 3-4s) I became somewhat nervous about the situation and asked for a life jacket for my daughter. I was laughed at and handed an old-school orange life jacket that wrapped around her neck and choked her (think 1960's)
Overall not great effort by the crew. There was one experienced Mexican gal on the boat that was great and she knew her stuff. I wish there were 10 of her on board. Overall not a great experience.

No safety briefing at all. No mention of what to do in an emergency, where to find life jackets or anything at all. Boat was in disrepair and badly maintained. Too many guests fishing, which resulted in multiple tangled lines on every drop. Approx 20 person onboard. Some were using live bait, but most guests had to use mushy defrosted mackerel, which came off the hook within seconds. The deck hand ERIC was only focusing on a two or three guests/friends rather than the whole group. He was useless! Poorly tied weight, which resulted in missed fishing opportunities. Captain was more interested in fishing himself! Boat was run down and overpriced. Their interest was filling the boat to maximise profit, providing a very poor experience and kept pushing on tips! Never ever use this company again.

We booked this fishing trip as a birthday gift for my fiancé, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience before we even got on the boat. While we were boarding, the captain was loudly yelling and cursing at his son in front of everyone, which immediately created an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere.
The entire 4-hour trip felt very disorganized. We were told we could purchase live bait, only to later be informed that none was available. Most disappointing of all, despite paying for a 4-hour fishing trip, we were barely given any real time to fish. Each time the captain stopped, we were only allowed to fish for a few minutes before being told to reel in so we could move again. This happened repeatedly, making it feel like we spent more time traveling between spots than actually fishing.
Overall, I felt completely cheated out of my money, and it was especially upsetting because this was supposed to be a special birthday gift for my fiancé. The only bright spot was Bobby, the deckhand, who was very friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the trip. Unfortunately, his excellent attitude wasn’t enough to make up for such a poorly managed and disappointing experience.

While we catching fish the reel broke not the line. I don’t blame the crew but the equipment can be updated.

Captain did a poor job putting us on fish. Any other public charter I have been on everyone was able to catch fish. Out of the roughly 30-40 paid customers 5 fish were caught. When in Miami again will book elsewhere. Deck hands were friendly and knowledgeable

It was raining and very cold, making it impossible to leave the cabin; many people vomited, and most failed to catch any fish.
