Unique interactions - Unique experience to touch, feed and interact with different exotic animals and birds such lemurs, pink flamingos; iguanas, small cranes were roaming free infront of us. Great activity for adults and children.

Nice animal for a short visit with the kids - A nice experience, including feeding the flamingoes and goats. We spent about an hour here. There were some nice interactive engagements which you could pay extra for.

Whole family fun - Very solid outing with the whole family. We didn't pay for any of the extras (animal encounters), but the park still had plenty of interesting things to see that entertained the whole family for a few hours. The coolest animals were the gibbons, parrots, lemurs, capybaras, and emus. Plus there was a free show where we learned about other animals and got to see some more. And on top of that, playgrounds for the kids that they loved (including a treetop/rope-bridge playground).

Parrots! - I went here growing up several times when it was still Parrot Jungle. I'm not in Miami as often these days but I have gone here a few times in the past few years. Price seems a little high for the birds and animals they do have. We did see a show with a few animals and birds.

Jungle Island-Go to Zoo Instead - We took a famiky trip to Jungle Island. For the price like others have said-definitely not worth the money. Better to go to the zoo. Many exhibits were closed.. The flamingos were in water that smelled like sewage. IMHO-there is no excuse for not having a cleaner pond thru filtering-aeration- • “Beneficial bacteria for ponds” • “Sludge remover” • “bird-safe pond bacteria” The animals were in small cages and many without water. We were there early in the morning so those animals should have had food and water. The poor giant tortoise had his head in his bowl looking for food or water. There was a small cement pond for the turtles--no water in bowls at all. At the gift shop-Water to drink for humans cost between 4-10 dollars per bottle. All extra activities were too expensive on a fixed budget to buy and many of the petting activities were closed. The playground and tree houses were nice but many Miami parks have equipment just as nice. The Jungle show was well done. Overall I-sadly-would not take my family back, Go to the museums and zoo-parks in the Miami system .

Jungle Island was an Expensive Experience - I had always wanted to come to Miami and as a grandmother take my 3 grandchildren to Jungle Island. For the price like others have said-definitely not worth the money. Better to go to the zoo. Many exhibits were closed.. Disappointing and over priced. - Over priced, low quality. Cages are too small and flamingo lake smells extremely bad. The place is dirty and lacking maintenance and care. Very disappointing.

Terrible experience, smells bad and if it rains you lose your money - Worst experience ever! I honestly do NOT recommend it, the price is very overpriced for what it really is... the flamingo area smells horrible, the animals are all caged in super small spaces, the splash zone did not work... We paid for the petting zoo encounter and since it started raining literally we lost the money because we are tourists and we did not have a chance to relearn for another day and when I asked what options we had he said: “sorry none” i.e. we threw away 65$ x 3=195$. Beyond how bad we feel about having paid without getting anything in exchange for real the place is not worth it...
