Great visit with Mr Ealey. He was very knowledgeable about the history of this precinct and Black people in the force. I really enjoyed it! Don’t forget to book you visit in advance!

We really enjoy ourselves.My granddaughter is 4 years old and retired officers.Shirley really showed us a great time the staff was marvelous and very friendly. My granddaughter was so excited. I'm trying to teach her about her history. I will be attending again because my phone. Was did and I couldn't take pictures, but I thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy ourselves. I am writing to provide feedback on our field trip visit scheduled for June 24th. Our reservation was made for 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM; however, upon our early arrival, the tour time was adjusted as a courtesy. While we appreciate the flexibility, the overall experience was not aligned with our expectations. The tour, which included approximately 40 students and chaperones, was completed in just 40 minutes. This was surprisingly brief given the group size and the educational purpose of the visit. Unfortunately, once the tour concluded, our group was escorted outside—despite the rain—without any offer of indoor accommodation or consideration for the weather. This lack of compassion from the front staff was particularly disappointing. It would have been beneficial for the tour coordinator to: Provide a more realistic estimate of the tour length based on the age group of students. Include follow-up reflective activities or materials to enrich the experience. Incorporate additional elements such as the Purvis Young gallery tour to provide a more comprehensive educational opportunity. Regrettably, the experience did not meet the developmental needs of our students, and the program felt insufficiently tailored to their age group. As such, we do not anticipate returning in the future. Thank you for considering this feedback. We hope it helps inform improvements for future school visits.
