Fun experiences - Great zoo loved feeding the giraffes and parrots. It is huge prepare to do a lot of walking and make sure you have a stroller for little kids. The misters were appreciated it was hot during our visit. We skipped the big cats because the kids were done so choose what you want to see if your kids are little you probably won’t see it all. Only suggestion is do color trails on the ground for each section so you don’t miss things. It would help with the flow of guests

Amazing - Just beautiful!!! So many animals so many things to see! Food was good too, we got the tickets with food package a little pricey though and not very rewarding since you only ate able to pick only 1 item per person. But animals and the whole thing was beautiful

A long and beautiful walk to meet animals - Very beautiful and large zoo. The animals are numerous, diverse and clearly visible. Well maintained park, the walk is pleasant. Numerous water points to cool off. We managed to do everything on foot in 5 hours of walking and 12km with our 10 and 12 year old boys. The zoo is very big! I highly recommend this zoo. Go there as soon as it opens. Some activities cost extra but it's worth it. With toddlers or elderly people, I recommend strollers and/or cart rental.

A great day at the zoo - This is a nice zoo. Pretty much all the same animals you see at every zoo. The park was well cared for and very few exhibits where the represented animals were not present and easily spotted. We went on a Monday afternoon with no crowds and a beautiful day!

Could’ve been better - We really enjoyed the animals that were out. There were quite a few exhibits that were closed. We rented a bike taxi and the worker Darius was very rude. He definitely doesn’t like his job or knows what customer service means. It’s too bad he put a damper on the whole process of getting the taxi that we were all excited about. It wasn’t worth the money.

Not an Ideal time to go. Many exhibits and areas were closed or under construction. The staff was friendly and knowledge - Web arrived around 11 am to find many areas closed or under construction. The signs were not very clear so make sure to grab a map.

One of the most concerning experiences of my life at a zoo. I questioned the care of the animals and knowledge of staff! - I just got off a cruise ship and had a day to spend in Miami, so I chose to visit Zoo Miami. I was dismayed at this zoo. Many, many of the enclosures were empty with signs saying construction is happening or that the animals are on a “vacation”… so there were not actually many animals to see. In fact, there are large sections where the zoo is playing animal sounds through speakers but there are zero animals that you’re actually seeing or hearing. Inside the Australia section, it was very appalling to see zero zoo staff around. There is a Tree Kangaroo and a Koala behind glass with many signs stating this is a quiet area and to specifically not tap on the glass. However there was no one to enforce that, so children and parents alike were screaming in that area and tapping/banging on the glass. Worst of all though was witnesses the Wombat. Animals are my passion and I work with all types of animals. This wombat was circling and I have it on video. Circling is often started by boredom, but quickly becomes deadly. If this zoo is not able to keep their wombat happy, they need to either remove him to a rehab, get him toys and such to play with, and honestly a larger habitat; this wombat is going to die. Worst of all, it took quite some time to track down staff to tell them about this and they had zero concern. They did not even know that it goes from boredom to actual insanity and then death. I’m concerned.

Not worth the money and very unfriendly to people with allergies - Not only is it the most expensive zoo I've been to, but they try to get as much money from you while you're here. My son is allergic to pretty much all the food we could buy at the zoo, so we brought a cooler with food for him to eat at lunch as well as a sippy cup with milk/breast milk for my other son to drink. We were told we couldn't bring it in and had to exit the zoo to eat lunch. This has not been an issue for us at any of the other major zoos we've been to.
