Zagora _ Mhamid

M’Hamid - Following breakfast, embark on a 4×4 journey to Mhamid, pausing at Tamgroute to explore the underground kasbah, the Koranic library, and the oldest pottery art in the south. Continue to Mhamid for lunch. In the afternoon, set off from Mhamid on a camel for a 1-hour trek to reach the Erg Lihoudi bivouac, where dinner and an overnight stay in traditional tents await.

M’Hamid - Before the tour begins, there is an opportunity to visit the shop for any essentials needed for the desert.

Erg Lihoudi – ERG CHEGAGA

Erg Chigaga - Enjoy breakfast amidst the desert before departing towards M’hamid by camel (1h). Rest and have lunch in M’hamid. In the afternoon, depart in a 4×4 from M’hamid towards the magnificent dunes of Chegaga, traversing a stunning desert landscape before arriving at the Sacred Oasis. After another 15 km, reach the Chegaga dunes, the largest dune group in southern Morocco, towering 300 m high over a 40 km stretch. Witness the sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in a nomadic tent or under the stars.

Erg Chigaga - Before starting, there is an option to visit the shop for any necessary desert supplies.

ERG CHEGAGA - ZAGORA

M’Hamid - After breakfast, the caravan heads back to M’Hamid, marking the end of the trek in the Moroccan desert. Transfer to Zagora around 11 am.
