Cross an expansive desert plateau (Reg) before arriving at the magnificent dunes of Erg Ez-Zhar. Here, the tallest dunes in the region provide breathtaking views of the Draa Valley. Witness an unforgettable sunset atop the “screaming dune.” -
Dunes hurlantes - Day 3: Erg Ez-Zhar – Erg Smar
Following a stunning sunrise, the caravan moves towards Erg Smar, an ancient abandoned nomadic village that still has a well. The day is filled with contrasts between sand dunes and remnants of sedentary nomadic life. -
Erg Aït Ounir - Day 4: Erg Smar – Erg Ait Ounir
Continue the journey through the tamarisk forest and the lunar landscapes of the dry Draa riverbed. Set up camp in Ait Ounir, a tranquil spot surrounded by small golden dunes. -
M’Hamid - Day 5: Erg Ait Ounir – M’Hamid
Spend the final morning walking to complete the circle and gradually return to civilization in M’Hamid. Arrival is anticipated in the mid to late afternoon, followed by a well-deserved shower!
