• Cenote Cocalitos - At this cenote, you can learn about stromatolites, their purpose, and why it’s crucial to protect them.
• Isla Pajaros - The journey to this spot takes 30 minutes. This area is perfect for swimming as it is not very deep. Additionally, if we’re fortunate, we can observe the various birds that nest on the island.
• Cenote de la Bruja - Visit this cenote to see the striking difference between a cenote and a lagoon, especially with its spectacular edge.
• Fuerte San Felipe Bacalar - Overlooking the lagoon, you’ll see the Fort of San Felipe, built to defend against frequent attacks by English pirates seeking natural resources in Bacalar.
• Canal de los Piratas - Enjoy swimming here, with depths ranging from shallow to deep based on your preference. It’s an ideal spot for photos. The return journey will take 30 minutes.
• Estromatolitos - Stromatolites are rock formations crucial for the formation of the ozone layer. Throughout the tour, we’ll learn about their significance at various points.
