Community building through murals and prints. - We loved learning about the murals in Jalatlaco with Margaux. We learned about the importance of print making and were rewarded with an opportunity to select a print to make and take home. Margaux has extensive connections in the Oaxacan print community and took us to many galleries to see the presses, the process and the final products. The chocolate tasting was a treat and very educational.

Great art and delicious chocolate - We enjoyed our tour and learned a lot from Toni. The street art in Oaxaca is bueno and you learn a lot about the history and current politics of a place through its art. Toni was fun and knowledgeable and we loved the cacao at the end of the tour.

Unique street art experience in Oaxaca! - Tony is an excellent guide to Oaxaca. His deep knowledge of local art and culture made our walk through the area of Jalatlaco especially meaningful as he explained the history and symbolism behind the vibrant street murals. Throughout the tour, he highlighted artists, their influences, and hidden gems I never would have found on my own. His passion for the city really shined, and the cacao tasting was a delicious and memorable bonus. When visiting Oaxaca this excursion is a must!

A superb freewheeling day! - This day was fantastic and memorable! Our guide Margot introduced us to talented and touching artists. A real timeless moment that allowed us to focus on the essentials. More than several artistic encounters, it was also an excellent moment that we shared with our guide throughout the day, especially during a very warm meal, in a heavenly and picturesque place that knew well. We highly recommend!

Art focused day tour with chocolate - The tour starts early, 9:30. Tony, who was so interesting, walked a group of 7 around the Jalisco neighborhood explaining the murals and political art. We went in to a museum, and a few art galleries to see different examples of art. No pressure at all to buy, but you could have. One highlight was going into a printing gallery where we made copies of a choice of lithographs. Lovely meeting the people there. Walked away with a numbered print. The end of tour we then sat down for a very educational and delicious chocolate tasting. Again, no pressure to buy chocolate, but had opportunity to and of course we did because it was delicious.

Do not miss this tour - Highly recommended this incredible tour. Tony was so knowledgeable and fun. He gave us great insight into the incredible art and history of this magical city. It was a perfect way to spend the day. There is a lot of walking but it’s not at a fast pace and very doable for me and my little dog. Thank you so much!
