Highlights
Come with us for the most complete introduction to Mexico City. Join us in our exclusive and original gay and LGBT+ focused tour.
Discover the city’s legends as we stroll past the greatest buildings, monuments, museums and open-air spaces in the Historic Center which span seven centuries of stories seldom told. We also strive to show you some of the hidden treasures.
This tour encompasses the most important, and oldest, parts of Mexico’s LGBT history while also introducing you to the city including the site of the first Equal Marriage.
There is so much more, that we have parts 2 and 3. The second part includes galleries, museums, theaters, the original Mariachi Plaza and the famous Gay Bar Row. The third part focuses on the nightlife at Zona Rosa gayborhood.
All of this is seen through the LGBT traditions and practices of the Aztec Empire, 1325 AD, the Spanish Colonial Period, 1519, the Mexican Independent Period, 1810, the Modern Period, 1910 and the Current Period, 2010 and on.
What's Included
Your friendly, local and fully bilingual guides can always be told apart by their yellow shirts and caps honoring the yellow gowns (sambenitos) that the Inquisition forced on so-called sodomite sinners, centuries ago.
All parts of the tour also show you different aspects of diversity in today’s Mexico City, including directions and guidance for nightlife and other activities.
