Surreal Experience! - This was the best kayak adventure I’ve had; better than kayaking in Puerto Rico!!! Watching the sunrise from the kayak on the canals was surreal. To top it off, the home made breakfast and coffee at the camp site next to the canal was amazing! I recommend this experience to everyone, young and old!! Vanessa and all the support staff were very nice and accommodating. We are going to bring back more family and friends for kayaking and camping next time. Highly recommend this experience!!!!

Great Experience!!! - Getting up at 4 a.m. was absolutely worth it! Our guide, Vanessa, was sweet, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the experience. At first, things seemed a little disorganized, but in the end everything came together smoothly. The breakfast experience was excellent, and we were able to see a wide variety of birds, which made the early start even more rewarding. Just be sure to dress warmly—it does get quite cold. Overall, a memorable and worthwhile experience!

Magical experience through canals and beautiful landscape with a delicious breakfast. - We had a fantastic experience. Getttjg up at 4 am was totally worth it. Arlette was a great hostess who took care of us very well. Very knowledgeable and lively. Kayaking through the canal was a very surreal experience passing through civilization first and then into eco friendly. Safely guided by her companion Miguel on the kayak, we enjoyed navigating through the landscape watching herons and oelicans.. We had breakfast at a magical place. Beautiful greenery decorated with bright colored setting. We were served delicious hot enchiladas. So much thought went into the food carefully managing the varying allergic needs with a bonfire to keep us warm. Would highly recommend

Beautiful paddle - Vanessa was a fantastic guide! We had a lovely sunrise paddle—the water is still and the kayaking is easy—then breakfast on what I can only describe as a fairy garden. All along the way, Vanessa kept us on track and informed. She also took pics she shared with us! If I were to do it again, I would have worn regular sneakers instead of sandals. It was a bit cold before dawn, but we had a toasty fire at the breakfast spot. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is that communication before the trip was not great. I shared via the TripAdvisor app that our group was vegan, but received no response, and 12 hours before the tour, we still had not received our pickup time. Sending a message to the tour company number via WhatsApp got a response but not until after a small bout of anxiety about whether the tour was still on! :)

Too many kayaks, too much sitting around time - First of all, I went on a Sunday morning and it was PACKED. Like so many kayaks in the water that I literally could not even get my paddle into the water to try to move half the time because there were boats on all sides of me, bumping into me and blocking my ability to reach the water with my paddle. Secondly, we spent two hours at the breakfast spot, causing me to return significantly later than what was promised in the booking, which was an issue because I was supposed to check out of my hotel and made it 5 minutes late instead of an hour and a half early, as I had planned. And it's not like we were doing anything - just sitting around. But I will say that the breakfast was delicious. Lastly, the company I booked with was not the kayak company, but a third party that arranged transportation to the kayaks. They messed up my pickup time and I therefore arrived late to the kayak spot, resulting in a mad dash first on a motorcycle and then in the dark trying to paddle through a mass of kayaks to catch up to our group. And then there was no clear plan for pick up afterwards, which was really stressful. I think this all COULD have been lovely, had there been fewer kayaks in the water, less time at breakfast, and a smoother drop off and pick up, but absolutely had I known it would be like this, I would not have gone, and I would not go again.

Fully in Spanish, not as presented - FYI this tour is completely in Spanish, despite being able to book and request an English tour. I even communicated with them in English the night before regarding transportation. They do not attempt to communicate or provide additional assistance on the day. There are multiple groups heading out in the dark, no coordination, and we almost immediately got lost and separated from the group. Over the next 2 hours we tried to figure out where we were supposed to be. It was stressful and frustrating. This is fully a Spanish only tour. I understand we are in Mexico, but we specifically looked for an English tour due to our very limited Spanish. Only positive was the sunrise itself. The breakfast was not as pictured, is in a small area with loud music and a Mexican animated figure.
