Fantastic time!! - There were ten of us traveling - four adults and 6 kids ages 5-16. Everything went smoothly. The company was very responsive to any questions, but I was still a little confused on everything that was happening the day of. However, everything was great and I shouldn't have worried lol
We did the hot air balloon ride, private tour of the pyramids, and lunch in a cave restaurant. We chose the restaurant that the guide recommended and it was fantastic (also lacked all the tourists and overpriced mediocre food).
Afterwards our tour guide messaged me a ton of photos and videos he took of us throughout the day which was so nice and appreciated!!!
We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the entire experience - would highly recommend!

Cesar our guide made it the best tour! - We had a memorable tour with private guide Cesar. He was knowledgeable about the history of CDMX and the pyramids. He picked us up at our hotel and had a cooler for our snacks. The workers at the site seemed to all know him as he’s very friendly. I was looking for souvenirs and he took us to a local market on the way home. If you can I would highly recommend a private guide as ours was very attentive.

Great tour of the Teotihuacan Pyramids - Unbelievable day for my party of six that included touring the Teotihuacan Pyramids, overview of Mezcal, and eating lunch afterwards at a great local restaurant. Yordi is an AMAZING guide! I had previously toured the Pyramids in 2024 with another tour company and couldn’t believe how much I’d actually missed. YORDI is a knowledgeable, engaging, intelligent young man, with a genuine passion for the beauty, history, and significance of the Teotihuacan Pyramids. Yordi encouraged us all to climb the pyramids so that we didn’t miss an amazing view. He was very patient with us and genuinely cared that we not miss the highlights of this tour. Again, another great experience with Yordi!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour - Definitely book this private tour! My husband and I had the best day! Angel was our guide; we highly recommend requesting his services. He is very knowledgeable about Teotihuacan Pyramids and all of the cultures surrounding the area. He taught us so much about Mexico City, answered all of our questions throughout the whole day! His car was very clean, the AC was wonderful! THIS IS WORTH YOUR TIME!

So much history! - We had an incredible experience with Yordi as our guide! He was punctual, personable, and so knowledgeable. We learned so much of the history of the pyramids thanks to him and made us feel like we all made a new friend in the process. Along with immersing ourselves in this bucket list location, he took us to learn more of Mexico City's history in general through an obsidian and pulque demonstration, then we enjoyed lunch in a cave that served some traditional Mexican dishes we haven't seen before. It was a real treat. Thank you, Yordi, for such a great experience. You've created some beautiful core memories for us and our children.

A fantastic private tour - We had a wonderful tour with Cesar. He was punctual, very professional and a throughly lovely guy. He is also a top notch guide. He took us to parts of the site we would never have found on our own and provided so much really interesting information. He obviously worked out quite quickly that we were particularly interested in wall murals and made sure that we saw them all, including some which were off the beaten track. All in all a highly enjoyable trip and we would definitely use this company (and ask for Cesar) for any future trip to Mexico City.

Great Private Tour and Transport - Great private tour by a friendly, knowledgeable guide and driver.
Pick up and drop off at our hotel was seamless.
Lunch break in the cave was fun.
Would do again next year if they reopen the steps of the Pyramid of the Sun.
Arrive as early as you can to get uncrowded photos.

Went to Teotechuan Pyrimid. Picked up at my rental. Escorted in comfy SUV, by an extremely knowledgeable guide. - Transport was comfy and on time. I have taken other tours to pyramids in Mexico. this tour guide got to know me and my interest. He tailored the tour to my physical abilities and interest. He is the most knowledgeable guide I’ve ever had. he made everything come to life!

Great Experience with TourMate - We used Tourmate to book a private guide of Teotihuacan and like they say on their website, there was no surprise visits to souvenir shops or any other places that we did not say we want to visit. They do offer you options to add places for tastings, lunch etc. But we weren't interested.
Our guide was Said and he was excellent. Easy to talk to, gave good explanations and got us to and from Teotihuacan through Mexico City's notorious traffic jams.
In addition to our private tour of Teotihuacan, we asked Tourmate to organise a private transfer to Puebla the day before we planned to go. They were able to find a driver and the price was reasonable. Our driver Esdras was a good guy, who took care of us and got us to Puebla.
I highly recommend the use of Tourmate, as not only did they provide us with excellent guides, they were responsive and understanding when our plans had to change. My partner got unwell the day before a tour we booked and Tourmate was really understanding with our need to cancel. It was professional service.
