Katya and Jose our driver... - Katya and Jose our driver were great, we recommend this trip. But the time at the Basilica of Guadalupe was very limited, it could have been better if we spend at least 2 hours there.Thank you.

Highly informative and did not disappoint - I think people would be hard pressed to find another tour guide who was as knowledgeable and passionate about this tour than Marcos and our driver Joel. So much information given which made the tour so much more meaningful. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended Sonya New Zealand

Great tour. Francisco was... - Great tour. Francisco was an awesome tour guide. Not only was he very informative but he had the answer each time I asked a question, demonstrating his depth of knowledge. My recommendation is to book the tour for Monday to Thursday to avoid the tourist crowds. We booked ours for Tuesday for this exact reason and it paid off. The 16 passenger van had only 4 people in it! This was essentially a private tour as we made friends with the other party of 2.

Amazing trip to the heart of Aztec Mexico - What an amazing trip. We were ever so lucky to be the only ones on this tour, which gave us Marcos all to ourselves. His knowledge, passion and delivery is amazing. Just the right amount of history and narrative along with the time to explore these amazing places in your own time. Joel, the driver, was equally great navigating some of the Mexico City congestion like it wasn’t there. A trip to the pyramids is a must if you’re in Mexico City, even if you’re only there a couple of days like we were, and I guarantee you won’t find a better combo than Joel and Marcos to bring this amazing, jaw dropping, place to life.

I signed up for a tour in... - I signed up for a tour in English, and ended up the only one in the group who didn’t speak Spanish. The guide was careful to deliver his information in both languages.

Beautiful sites but skippable shops - As an experience visiting the pyramids of Teotihuacan , this is perfect. But the cherry on the cake was our guide. Julio. Due to very less people in English group (just me and another girl), we were clubbed with the Spanish group. But Julio did such an amazing job of repeating everything in both languages fluently ! Hats off really. As of the tour, because they cover three sites it feels really rushed. It would not be rushed if we didn’t do the halt in the morning at that shop selling artifacts. Too touristy. Also the lunch offered was at best average. The sites ofcourse are a must visit and so interesting so I just feel they can remove these extra stops. Our trip started at 9, and by 6:30 PM they were still dropping off people to their hotels.

Low quality - I had more expectations about the excursion. The visit to the pyramids was fine, but previously we visited a commercial location, which was the first thing we did where we were too long. After the pyramids, we ate here again too. The food was very normal and the time spent was short Then we went to the Virgin of Gualupe where the employee of another store told us his story and the visit to the church we made with the guide because we asked him, since at first it seemed that we would do it for free In addition, the tour was in Spanish but we were going with a group of 8 French with an interpreter who in each explanation of the guide translated his comments what made the excursion slow and heavy... In short, we went through everything agreed but I expected more quality in the Service

Not to be repeated - I signed up for an English speaking tour. The tour was bilingual with most of the talking in Spanish a language I don’t know at all. I didn’t pay big bucks for a bilingual tour. The tour also went from tourist trap to trap! I would not recommend this to anyone nor would I go again.

Driver never turned up - We were let down by Wayak as the driver never turned up. I received an email the night before confirming we would be picked up from the hotel lobby at 8.35am. We waited from 8.15am tilll 10am thinking driver could be late due to traffic. I never received a message or call and it was too late to organise alternative arrangements. It spoilt our day as the tour would have been the highlight of our trip to Mexico. As I had done the booking I felt I had let my family down. We were offered a refund with no explanation given. As we had other arrangements the next day and leaving Mexico city the day after it meant we missed out on this particular tour. I have never booked with Viator before and this was a bad & disappointing experience.
