Great experience, knowledgeable, a guide - The perfect trip if you want to not spend an entire day seeing the Temples.
We were able to see everything and have round trip transport in about 5.5-6 hours. CDMX traffic can affect the timings.
Our Driver Roberto and tour guide Yair were both amazing. Comfortable ride and a nice coach bus and incredibly detailed knowledge of the archaeological site. Included opportunities to explore solo for 10-15 minutes sporadically throughly the tour. Breaks otherwise were not included so prepare accordingly, but the time passes quickly! Would recommend!

Ernest is great! - Ernest was a fantastic tour guide and was very energetic in teaching the group all about the historical site and the underlying history of the Mesoamerican people that inhabited the site long ago. Highly recommend!

Guide with a lot of passion - Great experience 5/5. It is very clear that Rodolfo loves every single thing that he showed us. A lot of respect for the history and avoiding fairy tale stories

Everything was great, and... - Everything was great, and the guide Yair was very knowledgeable. Recommended! Bring sunscreen and a hat, as there's not much shade.

Dependable & Informative - As advertised— no frills but dependable and informative. Booked the night before and my name was on the list at the pick up location. Remember a hat and water!

Short, better pyramid tour - This is the best tour— was an express five hour versus the nine hour with food and touristy stops along the route. Out tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and really explained all that they knew about Teotihuacan.

They did not deliver the time promised - Knowing that this would probably be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us to visit Teotihuacán, we decided to invest the extra money and book a private tour of this extraordinary site. We looked forward to the guided tour for weeks, expecting an experience worth traveling over 2,000 miles for. Instead, after only 90 minutes of a perfunctory narrative, our guide informed us that the tour was over and he had to meet another group. We pointed out that we had only seen two of the three major pyramids and we were not ready to leave. He seemed somewhat annoyed that we were causing a problem. After a few phone calls, the guide said that the driver who had brought us there from Mexico City could drive us to the gate where the third pyramid is located but he would not be joining us. The tour was over. We begrudgingly agreed to this compromise. Unfortunately, he never informed the driver who had been waiting for us outside the site about the change of plans. When we explained the plan to the driver, he was stuck with the responsibility of getting us to the other gate, ten minutes away. When we got there, guess what--we didn't have tickets to get in because our guide had our tickets. The poor driver went above and beyond to negotiate with the gate staff to get us in. It was unfair to the driver and it was a big disappointment for us to visit the third pyramid without a guide. The whole thing was a big let down, saved only by the awesomeness of Teotihuacán itself and our wonderful driver.
