Great day - It was a great day and Diana was an amazing tour guide. The historical information was so interesting. La Grunta was a bit overpriced, but a fun experience. We could have done with the Mezcal/shopping stop.

Informative and fun - Diana was a great tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and clear with everything she said. This was an easy and informative way to visit Teotihuacan. La Grunta was a fine experience, maybe could have done without that and the shop with the drinks. But that was our choice we made, and the drinks were fun to try!

Absolutely Incredible Tour – Deanna & Omar Made It Unforgettable! - Our tour to the Pyramids of Teotihuacan was hands-down one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had, and it was all thanks to our amazing guide Deanna and our fantastic driver Omar.
From the moment we were picked up, Deanna set the tone with her warm personality, deep knowledge, and genuine passion for sharing the history and culture of Teotihuacan. She explained everything with such clarity and excitement that we couldn’t help but feel fully immersed in the experience. She answered every question with patience and enthusiasm, and even shared local insights and stories you won’t find in any guidebook. You can tell she truly loves what she does.
And Omar — what a pro! He was punctual, safe, and incredibly courteous the entire time. The ride was smooth and comfortable, and we felt well-taken care of from start to finish. He navigated everything effortlessly so we could relax and just enjoy the day.
Together, Deanna and Omar make an unbeatable team. We felt welcomed, cared for, and completely impressed from beginning to end. If you’re visiting the Pyramids, do yourself a favor and request them—they will turn a great tour into an extraordinary one. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Great for a family excursion - What a great tour! Yair and Hector kept us safe and curated a fun and informative day. We rode comfortably on a bus, there were ample stops for restroom breaks throughout the day, and we were able to see some really spectacular places. We learned a lot at the archaeological site, had lunch in a scenic cave, and there was a short stop to shop and learn about agave, obsidian, and weaving. Bring a hat, water, and sunscreen.

The pyramids are... - The pyramids are wonderful. Fernando our tour guide was very knowledgeable and Regina was a wonderful driver. La Gruta food is dissapointing for vegetarians. Limited options and not flavorful. The ambience in the restaurant is terrific but the food is not great.

Good, not great. - The seven-hour tour (which we knew included two hours of travel time) spent only two hours actually on the Teotihuacan site. Those two hours were very good. Our guide was excellent. We saw the sun and moon temples and had time to climb the moon - no feathered serpent temple, no museum...
The balance of the time was lunching at La Gruta (cool place, unexceptional food) and visiting an artisan craft center, where we sampled tequila and learned about obsidian and weaving. Lots of time to buy stuff.
If you want a nice taste of Teotihuacan this is a well-organized and varied tour. But if you want to really dive into the site, this tour will leave you wanting more.

Limited communication prior - but great tour and experience!! - The communication prior to the tour was limited and no one was answering. However once we got onto the tour bus and the tour started everything went perfectly. Yair (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and informative. He answered many questions and kept the tour moving along in a timely fashion. Hector (our bus driver) was great - no complaints. The information on the Marriott Tours website is unclear how the day was going to unfold - so we decided to have a “go with the flow mindset”. No expectations. We got to one of the five bus stops (sent to you a day prior to choose) at 8 AM arrived to the site by 9:30ish AM had a two hour tour where we were able to climb up the Temple of the Moon. By around 11:30ish we started to hop on a bus and had a short ride to the caves for lunch. La Gruta lunch experience is definitely a must - the food was very good and a fascinating concept of eating inside the caves. Following that we had a pit stop with some tequila tasting and lesson in local materials such as obsidian and agave(lasted less than an hour). By 4 pm you are back at your hotel. There was about 40 people in our group for the shared experience but we did not run into any issues and things moved smoothly. The only feedback for this tour would be better communication prior to the day of the tour - because we kept texting the provided WhatsApp and no one was confirming the bus stop we chose or answering any questions. Other than that - great tour for a good price! Muchas gracias!!
