Two beautiful gems -Cuernavaca and Taxco - I was really surprised about how beautiful Taxco was. Omar took us on a beautifully orated tour of this gem of a town. Visiting Cuernavaca was an added bonus. Most visitors to Mexico visit the coast cities and would never give a thought to visit these Pueblo Magicos like Taxco which is a shame. Hopefully the word gets out so more people will get to appreciate these beautiful towns.

Perfect trip to Guarvacana and Taxco - We went with Omar and Rene as our tour guides. It was a great experience. Omar knew a lot about the history of these places and was very professional. We had a mixed group of both Spnaish and English speakers. Everything felt organized. The sites are magical, especially Taxco. Thank you.

Unprofessional guide - We only took the transport to Taxco, however, as soon as we got off the guide we were introduced to a person who would take us to the city center, because he said it was part of the safety of the tour. Of course the intention was that we would engage the services of that person. We really didn't like the way the guide insisted, we felt they just wanted to take money out of us. On the other hand in Cuernavaca we were given time to travel we were left with an appointed time, there were people who took a long time and we had to wait until they arrived. The guide didn't say anything and I found it disrespectful wait 30 minutes, being that we could have taken advantage of knowing more.

1h to see the city. - There is 1 hour of free time to see Taxco city without any suggestions where to go to see something so its just wandering around on your own. The tour consists of 2 visits to a silver store to buy jewlery, 30min church tour and 1h long lunch. Meeting place changed at the last moment. Paid for the pre-hispanic tour that was not available and still waiting for a refund.

Horrible experience - I had a horrible experience. The tour operator, Amigo Tours, changed the meeting spot without contacting me on WhatsApp or sending a proper email through Viator. When I spoke to them while still waiting for pickup, I was informed that they had sent an email a day before about a different meeting location, which went to my junk mail. This particular location was far away from where I was, and it was impossible to join the group. They didn't have a problem contacting me on WhatsApp afterwards. I was waiting for the driver to show up at the location indicated on the Viator ticket. I have never had issues with Viator before and have used them during each of my frequent travels. This is why I am shocked by the unprofessional service they recommend. The company has poor reviews, and this has happened to other travelers before. They ruined my trip to Mexico City, which I had planned for months. I also booked another excursion with this company to Puebla the following day, but under the circumstances, I cancelled it immediately. I reported it to Viator and I'm expecting a full refund. Find another tour operator if you don’t want to deal with stress caused by damage to your travel plans caused by an unprofessional agency.
