Great History - We enjoyed learning so much history. I bit longer than we anticipated but worth it. Puebla had always interested me but it was Cholula that surprised me the most.

A Bucket-List Day Filled with Heart and History - This tour was a bucket-list, sentimental one for our family, and it was absolutely wonderful. Ulises made contact before picking up at our hotel and he was right on schedule. We had to change vehicles, which we were happy about because the first van was not very pleasant. From the moment we met him, Ulises impressed us with his calm demeanor and incredible knowledge of Mexico’s history and culture, both past and present. The drive to Cholula took about three hours due to road work, but Ulises kept us engaged and entertained the entire way. As we climbed to elevations above 10,000 ft, something we Floridians definitely felt, he even made extra stops at pharmacies to make sure we were comfortable. His kindness and attentiveness really stood out, especially when he took time to answer my dad’s many questions, even when they weren’t related to the tour. Ulises is truly a gentle, thoughtful soul who went above and beyond at every turn. Once we arrived at the Great Pyramid of Cholula, Alejandra became our guide during the walking tour and she was also energetic and fantastic. It is a serious trek to the top, but well worth the panoramic view of the city and volcanos. Afterwards, Ulises picked us up to visit another church in Cholula and fabulous lunch in Puebla. I was on the hunt for Mexican Fire Opals as my souvenirs and Ulises found them for me. It was a truly amazing day, filled with memorable moments and thoughtful touches. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

Texas and Chicago getting a Tour of Puebla and Cholula - The tour was great. Just as described in the booking. Ulysses picked us up from our Airbnb. Ulysses is so knowledgeable about Mexico's history. The drive over to Cholula he maintained giving us facts about the pyramid and entertaining us with random facts about Mexico. Once we got to Cholula, Alberto took over the walking tour of the pyramid and church. A+ with his knowledge of every thing. Very entertaining and no detail missed. Ulysses picked us up after the pyramid and church tour and took us to several more churches in Cholula. Then we headed to Puebla and he took us to an amazing Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown with great views and great food. We continued walking Puebla with Ulysses and ended the tour with shopping. Every thing was perfect. Totally recommend

A Holiday Highlight - Everything about our experience was first rate. Communication was really easy. Our guide Alberto at Challulah was a wealth of information and Ulysses, our host for the day, was such a delight to spend time with. He was so knowledgeable and took us to some fascinating places. Can't recommend highly enough.

Absolutely amazing - This was one of the most amazing tours we have taken in Mexico. Ulises and Alesandro were fantastic guides and so very helpful. Ulises was our driver and guide for the afternoon. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and connections with the area. We got wonderful information about the local area and customs along with amazing advice about food to try. He even helped facilite buying some art which was truely helpful and appreciated.

Perfect day with Ulises - After many reviews of the Puebla tours criticized the fact that the time there is too short, we decided on this private tour. And to make it short - we loved it. Our guide Ulises entertained us with information about the country, people, history, politics, volcanoes, churches and much more related to Cholula, Pueblo and Mexico as a whole from the time we were picked up at the hotel. He has adapted the tour, content and duration to our interests, questions and photo needs. For lunch he recommended us several places (European, Mexican...). The traditional Mexican restaurant we chose even adapted the delicious food to us (vegetarians). After visiting the incredible cathedral we strolled through the beautiful downtown Puebla and he showed us some specialties there without any “must-shop-here” ulterior motive. Worth every Peso !! Highly recommend !! - Our tour to Cholula and Puebla surpassed our all expectations and was a wonderful and memorable experience. Our driver guide Ulysses make it all the more interesting and enjoyable from the depth of info and suggestions provided. Ulysses is a gem of a person with very fine qualities. Kudos to Travis Adventures for providing such great service from all aspects. Could not ask for any better. Would highly recommend !!

Thank you! - Fantastic tour. Ulises was early, picked us up at our Sonder. We had beautiful views of the mountains on the way to Cholula. The tour of the archeological site with Alberto was great, though we were a little disappointed that the tunnel is closed to tourists. The city of Puebla is beautiful, and we appreciated the laid back pace.

Impressive - Wow , I am impressed by the service, it was a pleasure spending the day with Ulesys so knowledgeable, kind and helpful he made our day unforgettable and wanting to come back to experience more of the country he is so proud of, also Alberto the guide that showed us the pyramids in Cholula was great and knowledgeable, we are very well traveled and have worked in the service industry for many years and can say this tour company has it together and will use them again when we return to Mexico.

More a taxi than a guided tour - Our driver told us that he didn’t really have any knowledge but would do his best since the guide was ill. Most of the time he asked us to read the information available on the sites, which we could have done on our own without using this excursion. He was, however, very kind and intentional, In short, it was not really a guided tour but more of the taxi. I'm putting up the average bill considering the driver's kindness.
