Tour of Mexico City - Great tour of Mexico City from the Zocalo and Aztec ruins to the Museum of Anthropology. Our guide, Rosa Maria, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and informative. She spoke excellent English and had a great personality. We recommend her highly. She brought the sites we visited to life and greatly added to the experience.

Could be so great if I understood it… - Great, BUT if you don’t read Spanish or have guide, you are quite lost- unfortunately… The place was one of the most beautiful, interesting and biggest museums I have seen, but I didn’t get much knowledge, because I didn’t have a guide. So to the museum: Please translate some of the information about your great history! To the non-Spanish-reading visitor: GET A GUIDE…

Try Another One - Our guide was Jorge who knows a lot but it felt like he only wanted to talk about what he liked. He was not engaged with us at all. He would walk far ahead and start talking as soon as the first person reached him so the other two with me would miss some information. He was very rigid, like it had to be his way- we were not encouraged to ask questions, in fact whenever we would ask he couldn’t hear us the first time cause he had earplugs in and he would harshly reply “what!”. We asked to skip a long stretch of walking by just having the ride pick us up where there were others getting picked up but he insisted that we had to walk. He wouldn’t look back to ensure that we were keeping up. At one cross walk he crossed safely but two of us got caught on the green light and had to run. He is not a storyteller, nor engaging, he would “read off” the facts with his back to us so it would be hard to hear sometimes and then he would quickly turn around and walk to the next thing. He wouldn’t give us a sec to soak it in, ask questions, check in with us or even give us time to take photos. Tho he would take good photos when we would ask him. I’ve never been on a private tour that didn’t cater to us, it had big tour energy with a private tour price tag. Sadly, I would not recommend this tour.
