Great Market Tour with Eat Mexico Culinary Tours - We had a wonderful tour with Toti through the gourmet market in Mexico City. Toti was a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Mexican cuisine and its historical context. All of the food we sampled was excellent. Looking forward to doing another tour together our next trip to Mexico City!

Delicious and Educational! - This was a fantastic walking tour around one of the bustling sections of Mexico City with many delicious street food stops along the way. These included going into various markets or going down a line of street carts. Every dish we had was fantastic and Clara was a wonderful guide, sharing all her knowledge of the history behind each and how it’s prepared.

Book this tour and ask for Clara!! - I cannot recommend this tour more highly enough!! I learned so much about the food culture (and culture overall) of Mexico City. EVERYTHING I ate on the tour was absolutely amazing. My guide (Clara) was friendly and engaging. Even though I ended up being the only person to book the tour the morning I went (a Thursday in August) she still took me around showed me her beautiful city with warmth and charm. Also, there was definitely enough food and I immediately went back to my hotel for a siesta after the tour:) Perfect way to start your day in CDMX!

Absolute essential experience to markets and street food in Mexico City - Clara met us for a guided tour of the food markets and street food in Mexico City. This was our first full day in Mexico and it was so helpful to have someone passionate and so knowledgeable to explain to us the origins of different Mexican food types, the related regional cultural backgrounds to try them out. Clara knew the best of the street food options and purveyors and we steadily ate our way around the city centre trying shellfish tacos (our favourite) , tostas (with turkey) , tostados, pulque (a drink made from agave plant) and many other things. If you enjoy food and want to eat Mexican food, this is a must to acquaint yourself with the different styles of eating and what to eat - helping us up to know what we liked and what to buy by ourselves. Clara is an expert in this field and we so enjoyed our time with her. I highly recommend booking a tour or other food options with Eat Mexico

Informative, Delicious Tour - With a professional culinary background, our guide, Toti, was both knowledgeable and eager to help us appreciate the many flavor traditions we were sampling. We had a wonderful time seeing the city with her, and getting to know little places we never would not have seen otherwise. We left confident about how to enjoy the amazing offerings seemingly on every street. Thanks to Tori regularly checking in with us about how hungry we were, what flavors we liked, etc., we were delightfully satisfied at the end of our tour. Toti is a patient, enthusiastic guide with excellent English -- highly recommend!

You need a knowledgeable tour guide like Nico to navigate all the food vendors in Mexico City👍 - Our guide, Nico, was super nice and knowledgeable. We were a group of four and Nico first asked if any of us had any food allergies so he could curtail our tour which we appreciated👍. With prior experience in the food industry, Nico provided us with a history of the foods we were to try along with the best spots in the area. The tour lasted about two hours and we all enjoyed it! Thanks Nico 🙏🏼
