The day will begin at an organic Tortilleria, where participants can observe the entire process of making tortillas from scratch. They will learn about the history of the nixtamalization process and the significant role maize plays in Mexican culture. The journey continues with a walking tour through the delightful Condesa and Roma neighborhoods, where a diverse selection of authentic regional tacos from all over Mexico can be discovered and tasted, along with insights into their history. Additionally, a visit to a local market will provide an opportunity to learn about essential ingredients used in Mexican cuisine.
There’s no better way to enjoy tacos than with a refreshing agua fresca or a cold beer. The experience will conclude with exceptional Mexican coffee and artisanal chocolate.
