Amazing day with Alex and Ale for foodies! - We had a fantastic experience with Alex and Ale. We visited a local market and bought our fresh produces and we then went back to Alex and Ale’s home to cook great tacos gobernador. Alex and Ale were very generous with their time and gave us great tricks for our cooking. We highly recommend this experience.

A great time while learning about food, history, and culture - Our time with Alex -- from a market trip to cooking and a fun meal together -- was maybe THE highlight of our time in Mexico. Alex is a wonderful host (Ale was out of town and unable to join) who introduced us to the neighborhood and its history, toured us around the market, and guided us in the preparation of a truly outstanding meal. He accommodated our dietary preferences with enthusiasm, and with his culinary training and experience, he helped us understand some of the nuances of Mexican cuisine and cooking techniques, just right for our experience level. He's also a warm and generous host, and we had a fun conversation over the delicious meal we prepared together. I highly recommend this experience, and my family is grateful to Alex for his hospitality.

A wonderful meal and visit - One of our favorite travel experiences, not just in Mexico City but anywhere in the world. Ale had a conflict, but Alex was a wonderful host, taking us to a market to shop, walking us through a meal prep, and then cooking a delicious three-course lunch. He was warm and gracious, patiently tolerating my clumsy Spanish when I wanted to practice, then conversing in flawless English for the rest of our visit. A memorable experience.

Do it, you will not regret it! - We had an incredible experience during our cooking lesson. Alex and Ale were exceptional hosts who made us feel welcome. The techniques we learned were valuable, and I look forward to incorporating them at home. I was pleasantly surprised by how our simple, fresh, and high-quality ingredients transformed into a delicious and enjoyable meal. This experience was not only a fantastic way to learn about the culture but also enhanced our trip significantly!

Terrific Cooking Experience - Our entire experience was absolutely fabulous. Luis was a perfect teacher and host - and his wife Ana was so charming and very much made us feel at home in their apartment. Luis is clearly an extremely knowledgable and talented chef - and is a very good teacher! The entire experience was relaxed and informative - a terrific experience for our group.

🤙 - Alex was personable and made our group of four women feel comfortable in his home. As someone who grew up eating a lot of Mexican food, I wasn’t certain how much I would learn, but I learned a LOT. It was fun, interactive, and the food? delicious. Easy walk up a flight of stairs from the street and a clean, small apartment. Nice to do a private event and let our teens be loud and have fun. We also enjoyed this was at night, so we could spend the day exploring, rather than many other classes are in the middle of the day. Alex planned a perfect meal for a cool night and accommodated our dietary restrictions, nicely. He was prepared and professional.

Fun night of cooking eating and drinking! - This was quite a delightful experience. We were welcomed into Alex’s home and he was such a friendly and gracious host and a wonderful teacher! He offered us drinks and sat down and talked about our evening ahead. He had purchased all the food but we were the chefs! My husband never cooks and Alex was patient and gave great instructions! He had so many hints and information about the food and process and culture. We prepared an appetizer, 3 types of salsa , Main dish and dessert . All incredibly delicious! We enjoyed our time in the kitchen and then sat down for drinks and appetizers at the bar and then at the table for dinner. Conversation was easy and it was such a fun night. We would highly recommend this activity!

Highly recommend this cooking class on night one! - I was a little skeptical to participate in a cooking lesson in a foreign country on the first night, but it was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend this as a first night in Mexico City event. The hosts Alex and Ali were so gracious (and patient) while we cooked a phenomenal meal of salsas, flautas, and a delicious corn cupcake. This event was really the highlight of our trip. The hosts answered so many of our questions about Mexican cooking and general travel tips. If I come back to Mexico City, this will definitely be on our list. It was a surprise for my partner, and she had a blast.

Amazing Cooking Class with Luis Delgado! - We took a lesson with Luis Delgado at his home in Condesa. Him and wife treated us like family and we had an amazing time learning to make different salsas and traditional Mexican dishes. Will definitely be back to see Luis and his new restaurant when we’re back in Mexico City!
