Hidden Mexico City is worth the effort - Fernando is a fantastic ambassador and is able to effectively communicate the complex threads of history, sociology and culture of Mexico as we used public transportation as a means of better understanding the city. Highly recommend!

You won't regret booking this tour - Excellent experience getting to see more of Mexico City than the normal tourist zone. It was one of my favorite parts of the trip, and for the price it's a fantastic value. I highly recommend it. The information and first hand experience on how to use the public transportation system in CDMX alone is worth the price of the tour.

Winner Winner Taco Dinner! - What a fabulous tour! We aren’t tour people but like to experience places off the beaten path so we took a chance with this tour and we’re so glad we did. Fernando was so knowledgeable and fun. We visited an area that we would have never visited on our own and learned lots of history along the way. Taking public transport was a great way to get around too after crawling through traffic in an Uber on our way to the tour meeting location. Just Do It!

A Different View of Mexico City—From Above - This cable car ride offers a rare view of Mexico City beyond the usual tourist areas. Floating above dense neighborhoods, you see daily life unfolding below—along with striking murals painted on rooftops and buildings. The ride is smooth, efficient, and felt very safe, functioning as real public transit rather than a tourist attraction. The views are expansive and unexpectedly beautiful, offering insight into the city’s scale, creativity, and resilience. A meaningful way to experience a different side of CDMX—and one most visitors never consider.

Unique and inspiring! - Wow! What an amazing experience! Fernando is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the Iztapalapa community and the CDMX public transportation system. Riding the Cablebús with views of the city, rooftop murals and his engaging commentary was such a treat. I’ve already recommended this tour to several people. Get off the beaten path (and into the air!) with Fernando!
