We had an amazing experience on our Merced market tour with Alejandra. The tour was well planned and as advertised. We tried a a variety of foods and saw so much more than we ever could’ve on our own. Alejandra was so knowledgeable and shared a lot of personal stories of the vendors and their backgrounds and her own connection to the market. A Wonderful experience that I’ve already recommended to family visiting later this year.

Our ability to book an interesting adventure as well as our host Ari was just great. We ate so much and experienced this varied working class market with ease. We would definitely book again.

Our guide (Addy) was very easy to understand and follow, she explained all aspects of the tour, including the nature of the neighborhood we were passing thru and eating our first taco of the day, which was delicious! She made sure we had bathrooms and water prior to entering the Mercado, so we were all comfortable.
We then got a comprehensive tour/taste of many aspects of the market, several tacos and quesadillas, pineapple juice from the "King" of juice, local candies, a mole tasting, and finally a CDMX style Michelada. I felt like I had walked miles and seen so much, very satisfying!
Gracias!!!
