The only company you should book for horseback riding in Los Dinamos - I have ridden with Omar before though Airbnb and had a wonderful time. I tried another company last time that was cheaper and had a not so great experience. So I paid the higher price to tour with Omar this time. I am so happy I did. I mistakenly booked the wrong date for my tour, but Omar was still able to accommodate me for the date I wanted. He picked me up near my hotel, and took us to Dinamos Park. Once there, we walked to the horses. I selected to ride the smaller horse, which was the perfect size for me. Omar gave a short lesson and rules for the riding, then off we went. It took us about an hour to ride to the second Dinamo from the first, with many obstacles and steep areas. We had two other guides walk alongside us and helped us when needed. We were able to ride at our own pace, and had opportunities to trot and canter. Once we reached the second Dinamo, we gave the horses treats and rest while we ate lunch. The restaurant had delicious food, which was included in the tour. After lunch, we mounted our horses again to head back home. The overall ride was about 2.5 hours, and the whole experience was about 4 to 5 hours. Omar and the horse people took great care of us. While we rode in a single file, we had plenty of opportunities to go at a faster pace when safe to do so. We also had an area where we could gallop the horses. My horse was very smooth, and other guests wanted to canter/gallop on my horse. So we switched during that time so they got to enjoy the running, while I also got to sit and run on the other horses too. I even got to sit on Omar's horse and enjoy a quick canter. And best of all, instead of getting yelled at by Luis from Cdmx Experience for cantering during the trail, Omar allowed me to canter a bit on my own in the trail when I found safe surfaces. When they wanted me to slow down, they told me in a calm and kind manner. Many pictures were taken of us on the horses and riding. I am so happy that I paid 125 dollars to ride with Omar instead of doing the cheaper one from Cdmx Experience. Omar's tour is much better and you are welcomed to canter and gallop when it is safe to do so. From now on, this will be the only company I will do horseback riding in Los Dinamos.

10/10 experience - I had an AMAZING experience, it was my first time riding a horse and I felt very safe. The forest is beautiful very peaceful. I am so glad I booked this experience. Our tour guide recommended dishes to try and it was delicious, the quesadillas (as basic as that sounds) were the best quesadillas I have tried on this trip.

This is worth it. - Amazing! Omar was so kind and his English is great. The men he works with are great animal handlers and we did some steep ascents but we felt so safe. The lunch up at the top of the ride was so good and we brought cash so we could order a beer too. So fun and totally worth the money.

Omar was very friendly... - Omar was very friendly and we all had a great time. I do feel like we got our money's worth with the included: transportation to/from the destination, lunch, water, and many hours in a cool forest & village. Omar is a local to the area and we enjoyed his stories!

Fun experience in the forest - We had a nice experience horseback riding. The view was beautiful in the forrest. Omar was a great host. He talked history with my husband, which my husband really enjoyed. We felt safe on the horses. My one suggestion would be for Omar to first offer the paid restrooms at the lunch location instead of the restaurant "restroom" that was unsanitary and difficult to climb to. Other than that, we had a great time.

Great time - Omar was a great host. It was my first time riding a horse. I was comfortable after a few minutes into the ride. The elevation does get pretty high. The food was delicious. The little town that we ate in was pretty neat. I would book it again. The forest was lovely. So peaceful. You will not have service.

Beautiful horse ride by waterfalls. - We took this trip on our last day in Mexico City. It was so nice to get outside the city and into nature. Homar picked us up near where we were staying in Roma Norte. He was a friendly and experienced guide, and his English is excellent. My friend is very experienced on horses and I have ridden only a few times. Homar made sure we both got the rides we wanted. I felt safe the entire trip. We saw beautiful waterfalls and stopped for lunch at an outdoor restaurant with tasty authentic Mexican food. The horses were sure footed and sweet. A special thank you to Homar’s assistant Toro! He made me feel so comfortable.

Excellent experience - This was a blast! The horses were clean and well cared for. They were very well behaved. Our guide Omar was very accommodating and catered to our different riding experiences. His English was excellent and he was very friendly. His partner Toro took good care of the less experienced rider and Omar made sure I got to trot and gallop a bit. Lunch was delicious and the forest was a nice change from the hustle to and busted the city. Highly recommend this!!
