Don't miss this tour! - This is a great and frankly really inexpensive tour of Teotihuacan and the Basilica. Edgar, our tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, great sense of humor, and very helpful. I highly recommend this tour and tour guide!

Lovely trip to must-see sites when visiting!! - It was a fun & wonderful day trip to three great Mexican sites that are must-see when visiting!! The teotihuacán ruins were spectacular to witness and so well-preserved, with amazing views from the pyramid. Highly recommend!! Seeing guadalupe basilica is also amazing. I wish we had more time to explore the Guadalupe church at the end.

Great guide and historical experience - We don't normally do guided tours, but this was one we chose to do while staying in Mexico City. Edgar was our guide for the day and was friendly, funny, and shared history that we would've missed out on had we just taken an uber to Teotihuacan and the Basilica, which made the guided tour worth the experience! The cost for the tour was reasonable (includes all transport and entry for the sites). It was longer than we had planned for (our scheduling mistake - we thought it was a 4-hour tour and it's all day, from 8am pickup through to 5pm drop off). So if you're making plans, consider it a full-day adventure.

Wonder to behold! - Very interesting the well-known places, full of history, we had a lot of fun from start to finish, the pyramids and basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe are beautiful, it is worth it, know with this tour. Our guide is always attentive and committed to our visit, transport 5 out of 5 and the restaurant where we have lunch with an excellent gastronomic bet.

Good tour. Needs a better drop off. - Edgar is an excellent, enthusiastic guide. The driver also was high quality. Pick up was convenient. Drop off was not. Hence I deducted one star. After a very long day being dropped off at a single site for 19 people was worst than inconvenient. It was unkind. We were all tired. We all had to suddenly try to find our way back during peak traffic, low availability of taxi and uber. I recommend you at least have two or three posted drop off sites so plans can be made preemptively.

Good overview tour of two of Mexico City's most popular side trips - Marco was a very knowledgeable tour guide and was very informative about the two main places we visited. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch had decent food at reasonable prices. However, I was a bit disappointed since we specifically booked this tour because it said we would have 3 hours at Teotihuacan and we ended up with less than 2 hours, which is definitely not long enough to really appreciate everything the site has to offer. You can see the highlights, but there is so much more that you won't have time for. I would happily have skipped the stop at the (admittedly entertaining) craft shop in order to have more time at the ruins. The stop at the Basilica of Guadalupe was better, with plenty of time to see everything without feeling rushed. In short, if you aren't interested in anything more than the highlights, this is a very good tour to cover a lot in one day. But if you are really interested in spending time at Teotihuacan, better to use public transit and go on your own so you can spend as much time as you want.

Family group was split during the trip - We traveled as a family of 18 people. They didn’t try to put us all together with all the requests from all of us to be together in one bus. They even lied that we will have lunch all together but it didn’t happen. We were on a different time schedule and different restaurant. 3 of our party were on a different bus the whole time. The food at the restaurant was horrible. Our driver was having alcohol at the restaurant.

Terrible!!! - Awful! First they separated our family into two buses. Other people were willing to switch buses at the beginning but they wouldn't let us. At a later stop, they agreed but then other guests were not willing to switch so we gave up. The second bus got back over a hour after the first bus! We tried to enjoy anyway and Marco, our guide, almost convinced me by being helpful at the stops. We had our elderly mom with us which I understand caused some delay and he helped with that (this was not a trip for elderly even though they told us it would be okay. ) i even gave him a small tip at the end so he almost won me over. But then they dropped us at a different spot than they picked us up and we had a 45 minute walk to our hotel instead of the 15 minute walk to where they picked us up!! And they didn't tell us they were dropping us at a different spot. By the time we figured it out, it was too late. That was it for me!!! Terrible, terrible experience!! Do not go in this trip!
