• Cuicuilco Pyramid - The visit will include the Cuicuilco archaeological zone, highlighting its main surviving structures, particularly the prominent main basement. Red-colored symbols adorn the volcanic stone slab, representing volcanoes, placed nearby, seemingly after the city was buried by a volcanic eruption that led to its demise. Additional platforms, pathways, and a site museum complete the main section of this formative city, a cultural example of Mexican antiquity that barely survives the pressures of modern life. Following this, there will be a walk outside the site to explore the remnants of this former city, scattered across its original 400 square hectares of territory, including platforms VI, VII, and Pena Pobre (an ecological reserve). Another sloped structure can be observed at the Tenantongo Tlalpan forest (Bosque de Tlalpan).

Its remnants, aside from the main pyramidal structure known as the “Main Basement,” are scattered across various areas of the city, primarily ecological reserves.
