Fun & Knowledgable Tour Guide! - We learned so much about the oldest part of Mexico City, Coyoacan, from Alex our Tour Guide. Our walking tour through the plazas to the Frida Kahlo park and then to the market was really enjoyable and informative. The background he gave us about Frida Kahlo was really helpful when we went into the Casa Azul, because it really helped us understand the context of all the art and artifacts that are in the house. It was fun to eat the churros and go into the market and have tostadas. I really feel like we got a lot more out of visiting this area because of this tour, then we would’ve if we just went on our own.

Get the Insider Look of Frida's Life and her Home Village with a Food Tour All-In-One! - An outstanding in-depth overview of Coyocan including pre-Columbian settlement, Spanish Conquest and occupation and period architecture/materials and finally, family lead up to Frida and Diego's life there. AND - a righteous food experience weaved into it all! Our guide, Santiago - a real professor! - gave the raw and unfiltered story of Frida and pointed out other related locations in and around the village by Casa Azul to give real context to the location and time that Frida lived there.

Wonderful Afternoon spent in a beautiful neighborhood. - Wonderful afternoon spent in a beautiful neighborhood. We learned about not only Frida Kahlo, but about the neighborhood’s rich history. We also ate lots of delicious food. Chris M was a great guide. There were a few bumps on the tour (none of which was Chris’s fault) and she handled them with poise and grace.

Frida Kahlo Museum and Cocoyan Food Tour - I'd like to premise this with a 5 star rating for the Tour Guide, Christina M. However the remainder of the experience was disastrous. From the incorrect meeting point confusion (and this was the entire group so not just one person getting it wrong), to then losing half an hour waiting for the guide to come to us, to our tickets to the museum already being scanned being resent, and the same thing occurring. The poor guide was in tears due to the confusion. We were eventually allowed entry however almost an hour late. Ultimately I would not use this travel service again but I would highly recommend Christina M.
