La pasamos increíble!!! El mejor street food tour que he tomado !!
Our guide, Natalia, was great! She was very friendly, enthusiastic and made us feel comfortable as she interacted with the merchants and others we encountered during the tour. It seemed like all the food vendors were happy to see her and answer our questions. She was easy to understand and provided lots of interesting information, regarding not just the food, but other aspects of life in Mexico City. The tour was paced perfectly with little wasted time but it was also relaxing.
We spent a glorious 6-7 hours on Mexico 101 tour of local markets, foods and restaurants. Our host Roxie is a vivacious, charming persons whose enthusiasm is infectious. She takes great pleasure in imparting her knowledge about CDMX to her clients and we loved her tour of huge local markets, training us how to use the metro, taking us to great restaurants and giving us recommendations for others. She seemed to know everyone in town! One skill we learned was how to navigate the metro system and a few days later we were able to take the metro to the Sonorous market and buy some local stuff to take back with us.
Rocio was very enthusiastic and took us all over the city which was great. She made great food choices for the group and provided lots of background and history as we walked and ate together.
Rocio personalized the tour for us, as we'd expressed special interest in insects and odd bits that'd otherwise be tough to scoop out. She went beyond the tour, and has helped us have an amazing stay in Mexico City (and Oaxaca) well after her tour. Would recommend this to any friends visiting, and would definitely consider going with her again when visiting another time!
The whole day was incredible and far more than I ever expected. As a small group we were able to try all sorts of foods from pastries, new types of fruits, tacos, higher end restaurants, to Popsicle, all while Rocio gave us an incredible amount of information and answered any questions we had. Food is clearly her passion and it shows in how well this tour is put together.

Best tour of all time! Rocio was incredible. She answered every question and more. Plus, EVERYTHING is included in the tour price. It's incredible. We were getting tired of "Mexican" food, but she introduced us to the REAL Mexican experience. Fantastic. TOP marks!
The tour was a great introduction to the very core of Mexican Food as it covered several market visits to show where the food was coming from while listening to a fun continuous commentary of history from Rocia. The rating is attributed to Rocia's uber knowledge of the local cuisine and the IT places to visit that will be advantageous to a traveler like me. She made sure that my overall experience of the tour Is perfect and remarble. And I say that because she made the tour so flexible that it gave us a lot of other things to cover, like how she helped me pick out a book because we passed by an old bookstore and I mentioned that I love books. She went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the experience I wanted and that I was having a great time while doing so. She's a renaissance woman with a very warm friendly personality, it felt like I was hanging out with a friend - A smart & witty friend who's a super in-the-know-insider of the local food industry in Mexico City! I'm a traveler myself so I know the usual do's & dont's, trust me when I say this ain't your regular sliced bread food tour! She's an innovator and major disruptor of the typical boring linear model. So drop the usual tours and Treat Yourself well by booking a tour with Rocio!
Great tour, enjoyed being able to get a great insight into the food culture and market life. Ro was friendly and warm and was able to cater for all our wants and needs. Would definitely recommend her tour for others.
Rocío was an exceptional host! She took us to places we would have not ventured out to by ourselves and her guided tour was definitively one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico City.
