- Armeria Reale - Explore the magnificent collection at the Galleria Beaumont. The Armory houses a wide variety of weapons and armor, ranging from the Neolithic era to the 20th century. - Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone - The responsibility of designing and constructing the Chapel to house the Holy Shroud was given to Guarino Guarini in 1667, a prominent Baroque architect in Piedmont, who completed the work in 1690. Please note that the Holy Shroud is NOT visible; visitors will see the Shroud Chapel and the Duomo, where the Shroud is kept, but the Shroud itself is enclosed in a box to ensure its preservation.
