There is a chance to spot alpine wildlife such as ibex, marmots, chamois, and, with some luck, the bearded vulture. For those with some hiking experience, a 2-3 hour walk will take you to the Gastaldi refuge at 2659 meters, where you can dine at the restaurant or explore paths leading to the Lake of the Rossa. The return to the starting point takes about two hours.
