Informative tour, well organised - Well organised and good Communication in advance. Punctual Pick up, very informative explanations by the Guide during the Pompeji visit.

Best for adults - Our tour guide was amazing! She covered everything extensively and had great English. I would say this tour isn’t for kids. The stones in the roads make it impossible to push a stroller and since it’s mostly listening and walking kids get extremely board quickly.

Wonderful experience - Pick up at the Port of Napoli was very helpful. Friendly guide on bus. Loved our guide in Pompeii! Would love to come back and see even more if Pompeii since the ruins are quite extensive!

Great experience - Informative and very interesting. It covered a lot in a relatively short amount of time, worth a visit for sure.

Great location! - The experience is great, however our guide spoke limited English. We actually learned more from other guides that were passing by with their groups.

Good experience but a little too expensive - The service was a little too expensive and the visit too quick. Price suggestion 55€ instead of 70€ and instead of picking us up in the morning at 10am, it would be desirable to start at 9am and in addition to the guided tour, leave us 1 hour more on a free visit to be able to deepen the tour

Did ours just go wrong? Not family friendly for kids. - Our family was really excited for this tour as it was more affordable than other options. Our driver was just 4 mins late, which wasn't bad and then we went to pick up more people at the train station before heading into pompei. The good is that our ship was first in port so we didn't deal with crowd issues, which other reviewers have noted. So I can't comment there. I can say though that as we were leaving, when the another ship came with tours, it was crowded outside, so prepare for that. In total, from the time of our start time to actually walking into the gates of Pompei, with driving, took 1.5 hours. When our driver picked us up, he had our names on a paper and waved us into the bus. He didn't explain anything or said anything until right before the train station. Our bus was also for the spanish speaking tours as well, which we didn't know until after getting off the bus. I had thoughts we signed up for a bilingual tour. The reason for the lower stars is that our tour guide, Salvatore, had such a thick accent that our group of 25 or so understood about half of what he was saying. When others in the group asked a question that he apparently explained an answer to easier, his response to them, was, 'why weren't you listening earlier? We explained that we didn't understand so we asked since he's always asking us if we have questions but didn't like answering our questions. He also yelled at a couple who were on their own trying to pass through our group when we were waiting to see the 'pizzeria' saying, 'wait, in line!' they were shocked. We just snuck them through so they could go on with their day. He kept telling our boys that he was going to show them a pizzeria when all it was were naked pictures of the brothel. That is NOT funny. Others in the group just shook their heads. Not appropriate if you have kids. I had to explain to our kids that was an adult joke that wasn't meant for them. One couple in our group had had enough and just told him they were going to take off earlier, very politely. So the reviews are hit or miss. Assuming the best for this company, just hope it was a bad day.

Walk so slow to learn so little - Pompeii is beautiful and worth the visit. However, if you really want to see Pompeii, as we did, I highly recommend you take a taxi and purchase your own prepaid tickets or book a private tour. Here's why...Tour guide was incomprehensible, rambled with no clear outline, and intersperced tour with personal, irrelevant information to give himself a chance to rest...not to mention speaking of himself in the third person constantly. Several of us stopped using the ear piece because we found listening to him painful and useless. Multiple tours passed us. We didn't get to the main forum until an hour and 45 minutes into the 2-hour tour, where our guide stood in one spot before directing the group to exit. We could have spent the entire 2 hours in the forum and experienced more. The transportation and tour portions are completely separate. For transportation they put you on a bus, pick up others, have you wait while they buy tickets, and then divide you into language groups for the Pompeii tour. After the tour, we waited on a smelly curb for half an hour until they packed us into buses for the return. I found a few staff who were friendly, but found most staff to be curt and unconcerned with your experience. This was an event we looked forward to in our 20 days of travel. Unfortunately, this experience proved to be the most disappointing.

Disorganised and too long for the actual time the tour should have been - The guide was supposed to hold up a sign at the port entrance which she didn’t do so took around 45 minutes for people to find her and all stood around confused. Then we arrived in pompeii and waited another 45 minutes for our tour guide to start so just hanging around again. Then at the end of the tour waited another 45 minutes or so to get back on the bus. 2 hour guide and 1 hour travel time there and back took 5 hours… too long and too unorganised for me. Then to find out the kids are free not sure what my £200 was spent on. Could have organised my own taxi there and back and entrance to the park once I got there. Would not recommend.

Disorganized - Very disorganized. Had to wait at the port for an extended ammount of time. Waiting on late people. Then had to wait after the tour for the bus again for over 45 minutes. They stated it was a small group minibus but ended up on big charter bus with many Other people.
