• Sorrento - The journey begins in Sorrento, a town with roots dating back to the Greek era between 474 and 420 BC, before the Roman period. Greek influences are still evident today. Although Sorrento rebelled during the Social War, it was eventually subdued and re-conquered by the Romans. Visitors will have about an hour to explore the charming town of Sorrento.

• Positano - After Sorrento, the next destination is Positano, reached by driving along the renowned Amalfi Coast. John Steinbeck once described Positano as ‘a dream place that isn’t quite real.’ Originally a fishing village, Positano maintained this identity until the mid-20th century, when fishing boats lined the beach instead of sun umbrellas. During medieval times, it was part of the Amalfi Dukedom, sharing in its triumphs and challenges. Visitors can enjoy leisurely exploration of Positano and pause for lunch.

• Pompeii Archaeological Park - Following lunch in Positano, the tour proceeds to the remarkable ruins of Pompeii, offering two hours to delve into the past. Pompeii gained fame due to its destruction in 79 AD when Mount Vesuvius erupted, burying the city under at least 19 feet (6 meters) of ash and volcanic debris. This rapid burial preserved the city for centuries until its rediscovery in the late 16th century.
