Was a great experience - Both guides did a great job. Mario kept us entertained on the bus trip with his local knowledge of the area. He even recommended a great pizzeria to us.

Great guides make for great experiences - Our guide for Versuvius was Mario, and he was excellent. He was very patient with us all, and very knowledgeable, he also made sure we were all in the right place at the right time, so we didn’t get lost. And when we did the Pompeii part of the tour we had Sergio as a guide - he was incredible! He knew so much and made it all so interesting!

Perfect day trip! - Truly the perfect tour to see both Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius! Pickup was right in front of the train station and our driver did an amazing job at getting us around efficiently. The group was very small - only 8 of us. The Pompeii tour was absolutely incredible, we had the most amazing guide and it was great to do it in the morning before there were too many crowds, we were able to see so much! We were given an hour long lunch break to sample some local cuisine (lunch was not provided) and spent the afternoon hiking up Mt Vesuvius with an audioguide. The audioguide was helpful to have but definitely not necessary to enjoy the view. The amount of time that we had at Mt Vesuvius was perfect and we were dropped back off in front of the station. It was an amazing day, if you are hesitating booking this tour, this is your sign to do it!

👏 Unforgettable experience! - Incredible tour and super well organized! Visiting the Vesuvius and the ruins of Pompeii was a unique and unforgettable experience. Everything went perfectly, from transportation to the time spent at each stop.
A special highlight goes to the guide Mario, who made all the difference on the tour. Extremely friendly and professional.

Loved Pompeii and the history - The hike up the volcano was two miles up. If you have knee, hip or heart issues I would avoid it. Pompeii will also be difficult for some people due to uneven surfaces. Mario our guide was great. Our archeologist was a short, cute, and animated Italian lady, (sorry I can’t remember her name), who explained the sites in detail and answered lots of our questions. This experience was well worth the money and I do recommend this trip.

Great day even in the rain. - It was cold and rainy on our tour day. Dress in layers because as you go up Vesuvius it is cooler. We never made the top. You couldn’t see for the fog anyway but Mario was great. As for Pompeii much more pleasant weather and Paulo our guide was very informative.

Nice trip to the Vesuv and Pompeii - Really nice experience with a small group and a good driver/guide. well we arrived at Vesuv early, where there was good space. Nice visit. Nice visit to Pompeii with lunch and good guided tour of the ruins.

Money well spent - Very well organized. On time. Easy to find. Polite guide. However the guide in Pompeji was a little too fond of hearing himself speak. Furthermore he would be difficult to understand at times because his English wasn’t good enough for the Italian speed he would speak it.

Vesuvius & pompeii visit... - Vesuvius & pompeii visit on same day not good idea. Got to be really fit to get to top of vesuvius in time allowed. Also morning vesuvious more likely to be shrouded in fog, as with our trip.
Pompeii guide( sylvia) was excellent.
