Very disappointing - I had booked a full day trip of Capri land and water. When we arrived the boat was late - no problem, to find out that we were only having one swimming stop where the itinerary originally had stayed two. The itinerary also included snorkeling equipment, towels and sunscreen as well as snacks and drinks- none of this was made available and it turned out to be a two hour boat ride. We were told to take the blue bus and do the rest on our own. Not sure where the tour on land was as the only thing included was the bus no tour guide.

Unlikely to see a Grotto - It was not a “full” tour. We only had 1.5 hours because the captain was late. He convinced us the line to the Blue Grotto was “too long”, so we chose to see one of the other two. We pulled up to one of the two caves…. Waited about 5 minutes and left. He never communicated with us when/where/why we were going. He never even told us his name. Never offered drinks or towels. He did pour everyone a tiny shot of Lemoncello. He and the first mate were either charting with each other or on their phones…. Never interacted with any of the 7 of us. We finally stopped to swim at the rocks for about 20 minutes then headed back to port….. it wasn’t until we arrived back that we realized we were not going to see any of the Grottos. After that we waited about 30 minutes for the guide to show up at the dock….. who gave us a sticker to ride the hop-on-off bus. We were left to figure out the rest of the tour ourselves….hence, not a “full” tour. We managed to make it for lunch and to the chairlift which was well worth it. But you certainly get what you pay for with this trip. I think a lot may depend on your boat captain. Ours was not interested in providing a good tour. Thankfully we are an adventurous group and are experienced travelers. We made the best of it and had a great day in Capri.

Waste of money - The boat tour was good, minus any snacks or drinks as advertised. Then we were put on a crowded bus (no bathroom break) to Anacapri. Upon arriving some guy wanted us to pay 20 Euro for the bus. We refused, saying it was included in the tour. Then we were left in the parking lot with no guide and no instructions whatsoever. We eventually found our way back to the marina on our own but the whole land tour part of the trip was a joke and a waste of money. Don’t book this tour, book the boat tour only.

Give it a miss - tour not as advertised - On arrival we located the meeting point but it was unclear where the tour started as it was a public restaurant with no signage. This meant we had to approach numerous staff, and people in the area before finally locating someone who knew about the tour and could help us. The cruise was lovely, and the swim was amazing. However the tour had advertised two swimming stops and we only had one. Refreshments and towels were also advertised and did not materialise which was disappointing. At the conclusion of the cruise we were dropped back at the meeting point and again had to hunt to find someone who could help us find the guided land portion of the tour. Eventually a young man gave us a sticker and told us to just take the hop on hop off bus around the island for the rest of the day. On a whole our group were very underwhelmed by the tour experience. We felt that the tour was not as advertised and really soured our experience of Capri.
