The same will last about an hour and will take place entirely within the Vesuvius National Park between green and narrow paths and woods, all with breathtaking landscapes. On the way back, if you like, you can help with grooming the horses and then an aperitif with local products will be served at the clubhouse

The approach to working with horses, both on the ground and in the saddle, utilizes exclusively ethological and natural methods. These methods are rooted in communication, respect, and relationship, inspired by the renowned horseman Pat Parelli. Participants will have the chance to connect with these magnificent animals (horses) in a manner that is entirely different from traditional methods that rely on violence and coercion. All activities will take place within the stunning Vesuvius National Park.

Once in a lifetime experience - My daughter and I had a great time exploring Vesuvius National Park. Easy to get there by train and pick up. Horses were specially chosen for our riding ability that made the trek easy and fun. Carlo’s commentary of the national park, the little crater was very interesting and he was very accomodating to my 9 yr olds many questions! We returned to a lovely pace of putting the horses to paddock and afternoon tea. What an idyllic lifestyle with the lovely horses. A wonderful way to explore Mount Vesuvius.

Italian country style riding Vesuvius - We had a great ride on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. Carlo has given us an extraordinary experience with his great horses followed by a tasting of local products. Highly recommended for the slightly different Vesuvius experience. Thank you Carlo

Amazing experience - We had an amazing morning, the horses (and dogs) were very friendly. Carlos is very experienced and provided some basic horse riding training before we set off.
The views were amazing and we would definitely do this again

It was more than the a ride! - Naples is one of those cities you can never get enough of. There’s just so much to enjoy - from a simple walk through the old city center to discovering breathtaking views on horseback. It’s an experience that has to be lived to be understood. Even my sister, who doesn’t usually ride horses, couldn’t resist joining the ride through the hills of Vesuvius National Park.
Carlo, our guide, is such a lovely man. He takes great care of his horses - and not only his own. He also trains horses with behavioral issues, like those that are afraid of certain sounds. Carlo even adopted a horse with health problems and gave her the best care. This little mare is such a sweetheart. Only someone truly passionate about these beautiful animals could do that.
There’s so much more to say about this place and the wonderful people who care for it, but I’ll save that for next time - because there will definitely be a next time.

Yeah, good! - Super activity, Carlos is a very good guide, his ranch is beautiful, the ride with the horses was perfect as well as the aperitif and the meal afterwards! We recommend!

Great experience to relax and unwind! - Had a pretty straight forward commute to the train station that took us there. Carlo picked us up at the train station on time and we headed to his ranch. Beautiful little spot tucked away. Horses were saddled and ready for us, he taught us the basics of each horses needs and quirks and then we went! We went through some nice trails at the base of Vesuvius and he showed us some cool spots that overlook the whole city of Naples. We then came back to the ranch and he was so generous to make us an aperitivi with some local wine to end the excursion. Would recommend to anyone looking to unplug and enjoy some quality time. Carlo was fantastic and very nice!

Break from nature and relaxation at the ranch. - Arrived by metro then train quickly to the pollena station (we were staying in napoli spagnoli neighborhood) Carlos picked us up by car for 15minutes drive. Then we got acquainted with our nice shaped frames, shiny dresses, in his ranch planted with apricot and olive trees. A beautiful walk in this natural bush made us discover the geology of peripheral craters of the Vesuvius and the view of Naples and its bay. Then we tasted homemade tomato bruschettas, accompanied by mozzarela di Buffala, olives and craft white wine from the widowhood. It was very nice and authentic to share this with Carlo. I recommend both for experienced riders and beginners. Thanks again!

Truly an amazing experience - Excellent experience, I couldn't recommend it more! The organiser, Carlo, is really friendly and helpful, he updated me all the way up to the trip, came to pick me up at the station, and made sure I was okay the whole time of the trip and even served homemade wine, bruschetta, Vesuvio tomato and mozzarella It was truly an amazing experience. The horses were also very well behaved and clearly taken care of, we gave them a nice watering and lots of treats after we came back. Truly a wonderful time and I definitely recommend trying it out!

A beautiful experience - Carlos was an amazing and accommodating host, we were running very late due to our transportation not showing up and he very kindly waited an hour for us. I had never been on a horse before and was nervous but became more relaxed quickly after the initial tutorial session, it was more simple than I thought and me and my partner both loved it! The views are incredible, we had lots of pictures taken throughout, and the food generously served after was delicious too. Thank you Carlos!
