Super Nice - We had a beautiful experience and had a lot of fun. The godfather tour was worth every penny. Also, we webt to Castelmola were the view is breathtaking. The drivers are super nices, the buses come on time , and the timetable is good, the come every one hour , so you have plenty of time to ealk and sightseeing.
Michela was amazing, she explaind everything when we bought the tickets , so we were wll informed.

Don’t get stranded - We wanted to sit on the bus for 2 hours and not get off. Hit there at 12pm. Sales lady said to wait till after 2pm as driver stops for lunch and will leave you stranded. Thanks.

Great value Green Godfather Tour - Paid just 20 euros for this four hour Bus Tour from the main Bus station. Visited Savoca where you had a one hour stay which was enough time to have a drink and Cannoli in Bar Vitelli then onto Forza D'Agro for a 40 minute stop. Heard a lot of negative reviews but we thought it was excellent value and really enjoyed the open Top journey up those real bendy and scary roads.

Enjoyable - Basic tour but very enjoyable. The chap selling the tickets at Taormina bus station was great fun and provided all the info we needed.

Promising Tour but disappointed with tour logistics - This tour is relatively cheap by comparison with other tours of the Godfather film sets @ €25 pp. the tour takes an open sided bus from Taormina bus station at 3:20 pm bia various pick up locations on the way. The tour takes you firstly to the village of Savoca, where the Bar Vitelli is the attraction as well as the church on the hill. Missing from the tour is a short guide of what to see and where the attractions are, we relied on asking the staff at Bar Vitelli for directions- second is the village of Forsa D’Agro again left to you own devices to explore this village whose narrow quaint streets double for the village of Corelloni - again a snall guide if provided would have been helpful. I suppose you get what you pay for !!

Let me make you a suggestion, you shouldn’t refuse…… - Hmmm, promised much, delivered little.
Headphones didn’t work, no clear guidance from map provided or driver of the where the actual movie scenes were, only managed to find the church Michael Corleone married Appolonia by following a German guy who was on a mission to see it all in the very little time available.
Not enough time given to explore and stroll around the towns or the areas where the scenes were filmed.
Not connected to the tour in any way, but just to make you aware……Owners of Bar Vitele are missing a trick, rude, no customer service & kept closing the bar off - they even refused entry to a wife whose husband was sitting in the bar area ??
Questioned our order although we gave it twice & waited an age for !
Overall the tour needs a lot more consideration, for only a little more effort. Give tourists the map of the scenes, tell us where to walk in the footsteps of FFC, Micheal & Vito Corleone. Show us the streets & landmarks, allow longer in the towns- who I am sure would love to benefit from all our tourist money.
Give lovers of the Godfather films the trip they deserve.
Shame, as it could be so much better for all.
Drive around the mountains was good though, even though the tour wasn’t that great.

The rain is coming down but what is it doing!!! - Terrible experience.. We purchased the ticket from Valerio (Taormina Bus Terminal). Once the panoramic tour started and we arrived in Letojanni it started raining and the driver, despite various requests to stop because the water was entering everywhere, did not stop. Once we arrived in Savoca, completely wet, we discovered that the bus was not equipped with a side cover, so no type of assistance was guaranteed (For them, getting wet in the rain is normal because it is an ''ABSURED'' panoramic tour ).

Extremely disappointed - We paid €80 for what we believed was a service that had a Bus every hour at the advertised times and pick up points. We never received the audio as promised. We waited over two hours after the time we were told the bus would arrive and the driver blamed it on traffic! He then said there was only two more buses that day after
1 o’clock every two hours. I said it was supposed to be an hourly service and he laughed and blamed the traffic. We again waited until well after 3 for the Bus paranoid it wouldn’t turn up and didn’t enjoy the service.

Dreadful, worst bus tour ever used AVOID - This company is dreadful. Virtually no seats on either bus have working commentaries. The buses are scruffy and dirty, and none of the staff gives a crap as to customer satisfaction. The drivers are rude and leave early. The timings are haphazard. They drive past waving clients despite having plenty of room and unexpectedly announce they are taking a 40 minute break.
The afternoon tour to Savoca the godfather tour is heavily over subscribed. We saw that some people were unable to go and some people sat on the emergency exit steps as it was so full. Really not safe! Didn’t bother going in the end.
Both the man at the bus station selling tickets lies and the woman in the shop is unhelpful. We demanded a refund but they refused.
The other company Hop on Hop off with confusingly the same colour scheme, looks to have much cleaner, modern buses and costs 5 euros less. I have no idea if their commentary works but at least it would have cheaper to have the same level of service.
