- Fattoria Casa Sola - Vineyard and Olive Field Tour with Wine Tasting: Begin with a stroll through the fields to explore the olive trees and vines, where the growing techniques and the history of the Chianti region, along with its quality-focused development over the years, will be explained. Following this, visit the wine cellars. In the fermentation area, wine-making techniques will be unveiled, and in the aging area, the various types of oak barrels used for different wines and their specific aging processes will be showcased.
The tour’s highlight is the wine tasting, where insights on wine tasting and pairing wines with different foods will be shared. Participants will sample three types of red wine: Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and Montarsiccio I.G.T., accompanied by bread and our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Vin Santo, and cantucci biscuits.
The tour includes a snack to complement the wines: local cold cuts such as cured ham (prosciutto), salami, and cheese, along with bread featuring our Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamico.
The wine experience will conclude with the revered food ceremony of Vin Santo (dessert wine) and cantucci biscuits.
