• Rifugio Sapienza - Guests will be collected from their accommodation by a personal guide and driver in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, marking the beginning of their private journey to Europe’s highest active volcano. During the drive to Etna, they will discover the geological history of the volcano and gain insight into the life of the Etnean people living on an active volcano.

The first stop will be at a honey farm located on the slopes of Etna, where visitors can sample locally produced honey and wine. The journey will then continue, ascending through both old and new lava flows, black valleys, and extinct craters, reaching an elevation of 6,560 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level.

A short walk on a crater will lead to a panoramic viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the Ionian coastline. A glass of the finest Italian Prosecco will accompany a breathtaking sunset. Guests are encouraged to take their time exploring the lava formations and enjoying the crisp mountain air. Once ready, the guide will return them to their accommodation.
