Our multilingual high-altitude Etna tour provides a unique and awe-inspiring adventure, allowing participants to explore one of Sicily’s most stunning volcanic landscapes. Guided by knowledgeable local experts, participants will have the chance to walk on active craters and observe volcanic activity up close. The journey involves climbing the volcano on foot to reach the base of the summit craters at 3000 meters, where the volcanic activity can be admired. To enhance understanding of volcanic phenomena, the trek continues to the site of the 2002-2003 eruption, featuring visits to its magnificent craters and a lava flow tunnel.

The itinerary proceeds with a view of the highest edge of the Bove Valley, offering an appreciation of Etna’s evolutionary history. The return is facilitated by a cable car ride.
