Perfect hike to Etna with an excellent guide - This is a bucket list thing and Etna Hiker is the tour operator to go! The transport to the summit of the mountain by 4x4, the hike to and tour around two of the craters, all the information and stories our guide (Andrea) would tell us with him full of excitement and passion. The experience was perfect! 10/10, would highly recommend!

Great quality excursion! - We researched a few firms to go with and Etna Hikers ticked the boxes with being able to go from the quieter North side, and an interesting choice of excursion, with the Crater Summits Hike. Well organised, and super interesting. Luca was an excellent guide- so knowledgeable and I learnt loads about Etna and volcanic activity. The hike is very manageable, and running down the sandy slopes at the end was stupidly fun. It's been a highlight of our 11 days in Sicily. Thoroughly recommend. Great team and nothing was a problem with sorting out boots and jackets etc.

Pleasant hike through curious place on Earth. - Pleasnt hike with amazing guide Arturo. His exitement was a part of the experience for us. We had also amazing weather which enhanced the hike. Due to recent volcanic event everything was covered with thin layer of rusty dust which gave some areas an impression of martian pictures.

Etna Hiker professionalism and courtesy - We had a wonderful day. The route to the craters is surreal, impossible to describe. The fatigue of the climb, is dampened by the wise explanations of Lydia our guide and the "voice" of the volcano that, as you get closer, gets stronger and stronger. Do not underestimate the fun and scenic descent to the valley. And to finish the picnic on the lava stone overlooking the volcano, is priceless! I would say that Etna Hiker was the right choice.

Beautiful. - Beautiful day in an extraordinary environment; how excellent was the organization that led a nice group to the summit craters and allowed you to appreciate everything that was seen. Many indications on the landscape and the history of the eruptions; after the upper part and the return to the 2900 meters of the start, we continued downhill to 2500 m. of the cable car still crossing many beautiful landscapes. Thanks to Etna Hiker and Luca Cosma who guided us perfectly and allowed us to enjoy a fantastic day. I definitely recommend relying on Etna Hiker to plan a day to get to the top of Etna and admire these particular landscapes.

Emotions in safety - An experience like this always leaves you speechless, already from the preparation and step by step as you climb and get to the top you are assailed by a thousand unique sensations. We went up during a cloudy day but thanks to Luca we were sure to carry it out in maximum safety, he took care of all of us and the walk between the craters on top of Etna seemed to us a surreal experience between roars and thick clouds while we looked down into the depths of Sicily. Descending through the volcanic sands was fun. At the end of the hike a good drink and then everyone home. Thanks Luca and brings on many people to make known this infinite beauty.

Unique experience, highly recommend it - I highly recommend this trip, it was way above my expectations. The place has such great energy, so alive, so uncommon, so surprising. Our guide, Luca, is very knowledgeable and inspirational as he shared his passion for the volcanoes with us. What I really appreciated was that, even though Etna had very intense activity and we couldn’t use the regular route, Luca was flexible to propose us a different one, so that it is both safe and mind-blowingly beautiful. The dificulty of the itinerary was adapted to meet the group’s potential and phisical posibilities, Luca offering us great support allong the way.The landscapes seemed enhanced in Photoshop, breathtaking, the place is unbelievable beautiful. I can say it was one of the most incredible experience I ever had while traveling, will most definitely come back.
