- Valle Del Bove - The first stop will be the viewpoint of the Valle del Bove, a large horseshoe-shaped volcano-tectonic depression located in the eastern sector of Etna, it is very important from a volcanological point of view as several outcrop along the walls. On fine days the view is breathtaking.
- Crateri barbagallo - A very important stop is the Barbagallo crater at an altitude of about 3000 meters. Going up along the sandbanks, you will reach a lava flow channel dating back to the 2002 eruption. Going up the channel, you will arrive at the effusive mouth of the same eruption. we will continue towards Torre del Filosofo (2920 meters) along the recent still hot lava flows (21-05-2023). After the lunch break we will walk along the edge of the Barbagallo crater admiring the summit craters and the entire eastern coast of Sicily, from Taormina to Syracuse.
- Mount Etna - After the walk on the edge of the Barbagallo crater, before starting the descent, we would have the opportunity once again to admire the summit craters of Etna, Central Crater and South-East Crater, with their inevitable plume of gas.
- Etna Cable Car Bar 2500m - The return by cable car will take place along channels of volcanic sand, admiring, on fine days, a breathtaking view, which ranges from the Ionian coast to the interior of Sicily.

The journey continues to the Barbagallo craters at 3000 meters, offering a view of the majestic Summit Craters and the chance to admire recent lava flows (01 - 12 - 2023), leading to the interior of a lava flow channel. Visitors will explore the effusive vent from the 2002 eruption and then descend along the sands to Montagnola, where the Valle del Bove, a significant volcano-tectonic depression, can be observed. The breathtaking views are unparalleled, offering a unique experience. The return journey by cable car provides a final glimpse of this enchanting lunar landscape, with approximately 4 hours of total walking.

Wonderful experience in the company of guide Clara! - A memorable experience! Clara's presence was invaluable, she provided us with all the useful information about volcanic activity and allowed us to fully enjoy this paradise landscape! Between an explanation and a joke time flew by. We strongly recommend climbing to the top, accompanied by this expert guide: the effort always pays off! Thanks again

Mount Etna in the snow! - What an amazing yet strenuous hike! Our guide (I am terrible with names) who tells the tale of almost being born on the mountain was great. There was snow the whole way which made the hike a little more difficult. But the views along the way made it so worth it.

Fascinating experience and amazing guide - It is essential to carry out the activity with a guide. It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Extraordinary experience. Etna cannot be told... you have to live it. - It was the best experience I had in this short holiday of mine. The guide assigned to us was Clara and was wonderful. Competence and knowledge of our extraordinary Mother Etna. I learned things I didn't know even though I was from the Zone.
My next time I hope to have her back as a Guide.

Unique and worth seeing - If you are in Sicily you should definitely live on this mountain for me one of the most beautiful experiences in mine. Thanks to CLARA our tour companion it was a wonderful ascent to the spectacular craters and the unique view. I booked the tour with 4x4 jeep but as it is the mountain can be unpredictable. Unfortunately it was not possible to go up so we were allowed to walk from the cable car the route from 2500 m.a.s.l. which was also very exciting. What I noticed was unfortunately the self overestimation of many tourists (wrong clothes, poor condition... probably never hiked in their lives) this had the consequence that we could not see all the destinations that were targeted... Nevertheless I would do this tour again 😁 thank you again Clara this day will remain unforgettable for me 🙏🙏🙏

Fantastic. - An amazing experience having lunch on a warm rock in the snow. Sun, snow and the wonderful Klara... good luck and thank you. Etna is incredible. I am very happy to have been there in December on a sunny day.

Great experience, but some delays - We had an amazing experience on the Mount Etna tour!
Our guide Clara was professional and passionate about Etna and always made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable.
The organization took some time, and the start of the tour was delayed due to the large number of participants. While this slightly affected the schedule, the overall experience was still enjoyable. With a bit better time management, the tour could be even better.

Special experience - The organization was professional and the guides were clear and could speak fine English. However, the group was quite large and diverse and therefore there was a lot of waiting time and little action. Unfortunately, due to increasing volcanic activity, we could not fully go up it was too dangerous.

Disappointing - Disappointing...the first time, excursion cancelled due to ice, we knew 20min before the meeting and we had already paid parking 😔. Two days later we repeat... cable car does not walk, we climb in jeep... then after it is gone, we walk, we climb, we look little at the landscape because we have to advance... we have to walk in the footsteps of the guide (too big for me). I'm sinking into the snow. We climb up a hillside, I really found it very dangerous, because if you slide you descend for several meters like a snowball with rock underneath. As our group is too slow (we were only 6), we eat on the go and in addition we do not go to the end... back for lack of time... But it's still snow, I fall and slide once, twice and more, and I get argued by the guide because I don't walk in his footsteps... But I have to say that they have lent me shoes where there are no more spikes and the sole is smooth... Experience far from my expectations...you have to be a proven hiker for this kind of excursions...moreover you will pay less by addressing yourself directly on the cable car website. We paid 15€ more per person, for a helmet, jacket and shoes 'smooth'. Real disappointment really unfortunate considering the price paid, a little compassion and better organized we could have kept a wonderful memory of this experience

Great BUT… - The views were spectacular in MT Ethna BUT (1) the guides English was very difficult to understand because of his accent (2) the tour says they provide equipment, most importantly hiking shoes. The tour’s hiking shoes have very worn soles making the snow AND ice trek potentially dangerous. Suggest you bring your own hiking shoes for a good trekking experience.
